Burning Polyfill?

Hi all!

Got my 510 11/13. Last puff from a real cig on the 30th. Since then I have bought the PCC, a passthrough, 15 different juices and am now about to dive into my own juice making. But my real question is:

Does Poly tend to burn quicker on straight VG faster than PG or PG/VG mixes? Or did I just use the passthrough too much with out wetting my wick?

you may want to try diluting it just a bit. vg wicks slower than pg because it is so thick.

I switched to using the safe Scotch-brite in my pt. Less burn and much better wicking.

I think you hit the nail on the head gingersnaps. I hadn't burned one until just now and it's probably because I was vaping some homemade juice I whipped up and only had VG (I just order a large amount of PG USP and am a bit impatient). But I did successfully create some 24mg (yes I know it's a bit high) of juice using Wilton Glycerine, McCormick Cinnamon Extract (not sure if that is oil or not) and Nic juice that is PG based. I don't have any Everclear so I could probably add a few drops of distilled water. And... BTW... it had to steep for a week before the flavor evened out and it didn't leave an oily (I get that from VG) taste in my mouth.

Easy way is to lose the polyfill and go with aquarium "blue foam" filter from the pet store.

Better wicking, no burning, and just adjust the size to match the thickness of your particular juice.
