I just began making my own juice in test batches of 5ml i was using ankra tobacco flavor by flavor west and when I vape it it tends to have a bite or burn in my throat its 80% vg 20% pg could the bite be due to over flavoring or just the flavoring i thought maybe it was my coils that i built but vaping another juice i didn't get that bite so i assume its the juice any ideas

Try with no flavoring and that will answer your question.

Try making it without the PG, water it down with distilled water if it turns out too thick.

Over-flavoring is common. It's particularly easy since different flavorings are used at different concentrations. There's no fixed rules.

I made a Mt. Dew type flavor juice once. Used about 5 drops of flavoring in 20 ml. About puked and gave up vaping on the spot. Tasted like burt old gym socks.

After steeping and using only one drop...wasn't bad. lol.

Don't feel bad. Also let it steep a bit.

Also, it's not uncommon to add a few drops of water to a mix too. Don't give up on the PG IMHO unless you have problems with PG. Most of the safety concerns are about overheating VG, not PG. Also, PG alone (drip some and try it) isn't unvapable. It's harsher than VG, but most harshness is from the nic and/or flavors.
