VIP staff sold me the battery and coils without telling me if the combination was good set up.

Hi Kishan and welcome to the forum. I tried looking for your battery and clearomizer (tank) so I can figure out which coil (atomizer) and tank you have. It appears to me you have a "standard" eGo 1100 mah battery. The pictures I found for that "brand" (actually a rebrand) are many. When a coil gets burnt, you should change the juice in the tank as well as the coil. The juice in the tank that was there when the coil got burnt can have the burnt flavor to it from the old coil. Without a pic it would be difficult to advise to any depth from what I stated.

The rule of thumb to any vaper getting off cigs is to have a backup. Instead of buying a backup for your gear I'd suggest an upgrade like the iStick 30W and a Nautilus Mini. Then the gear you now have can be used as your backup. (for when a battery needs recharged, coil gets burned, etc...)

Looks like the standard BDC (bottom dual coil) for tanks like from the second from the left in the picture below. When you get a burnt coil you should clean out the tank and put fresh juice in it. Also in the picture is the Nautilus Mini on a Spinner 2 (center) and on the iStick 50W (right)

Ok. Thats a top fill CE 5 style similar to the one on the far left in my pic above. Typical starter kit. When you burn a coil dump the ejuice in the tank when you go to replace the coil because the ejuice can be tainted with the burnt taste. Make certain you "prime" the coil by taking a few draws WITHOUT power so the wick in the coil can get juice or you'll burn the next coil as well. (I would cover the air holes and draw vacuum into the coil once or twice, some people say put a drop or 2 of juice directly down the hole in the top of the coil) The first draw on a new coil of that type should be small and slow to make certain the coil has wicked with juice. If it starts to taste dry or burn STOP, take a few more draws WITHOUT power. I started with one like that.

There isn't much else I can offer about the tank. When I walked into my first vape shop with one like that the girl working the counter told me I would end up throwing it away. Kinda offended me because I really liked my vape (and had 3 or 4 of them) but she was right, I upgraded within a week, and then upgraded again and again. Good luck in your journey.
