BURNING THROAT please help.

I have a problem, that needs attention.

Ill try to keep it brief.


Ive used a standard Joye 510 for about 1 year now.

My favorite flavor is 28mg Raspberry.

I recently bought 14mg Raspberry and have been getting weird vapor and burning in my throat.

Ill take a typical drag, get a nice big puff....it will burn when I inhale....and I will exhale No vapor.

Even if I take a big long puff....ill get a big cloud of vapor in my mouth...inhale it...it will burn like hell - and i will still exhale no vapor.


The liquid is more runny and fluid than the 28 mg stuff, not sure if that means anything.



I would apreciate any and all input on this please; and to help with the replies ill post my own troubleshooting:

Had the same 510 for the past year..

No mods or anything on it..

Regular 510 atomizer

I make sure to drip a couple on the bridge everytime I refill or clean or switch anything..

I was just smoking 28mg raspberry with the same rig yesterday, and everything was good yesterday...good vapor, good throat hit


p.s. im having the same problem with my gf's 510 too...she has cotton candy flavor...we also dummed that down to 14mg...and the same thing is happening to hers

Normally Id recommend increased liquids to keep yourself hydrated but as youve been a vaper for a year already you probably already do that.
Id check with the supplier and see if they have changed flavor bases to a new manufacturer (say from Perfumers to Lorann - thats an example, Ive had no issues with either) or use a different flavor base in the lower nic juices.

not sure if it's the nic level but could be the PG percentage in the juice is higher than the other.. PG is more watery and less vapor production. You could add some nic juice if you want more nic, and then also add some plain VG for more vapor, but you might lose some flavor.

Right now I would suggest that you stop vaping that stuff. Also, try not using carts. Try dripping instead. This could be related to melting polyfil.

Part of the reason I wanted to switch to 14mg was cause i got a new job...and only get 1 break during the day....and about 2 weeks ago I was on my hour long lunchbreak...I killed a whole battery on my lunch break lol

I just sat in my car chain smoking until it was blinking LOL...then i stood up and almost passed out
