Not all HV atomizers are created equal. If you're using a 5.0 Ohms atty then it should only be pushing 1.2 amps and 10.368 watts, and this should be fine, although 10 watts is kind of pushing it heat wise.

The trick with LR and HV atties is too keep them wet, but not too wet and never vape them dry. While this might sound easy enough, it's really a delicate balance. Running them hot shortens the life and burns them out more quickly. Make sure that you aren't power vaping and give the atomizer some time to cool down. Keep your draws short, no longer than 3-4 seconds is really all you need.
