Burnt taste Kangertech Protank 3 Mini

Hi, i recently switched to vaping on my kangertech protank 3 mini and had a few issues and the one im facing right now happens like this:

I fill my tank and vape normally for like 2 hours (with new head) and then it stops producing vapor for awhile and after that it has some vapour but it tastes burnt so hard that i can't handle it and I caugh, I don't know what is causing the issue and I am asking you for some help because I want to start vaping.

What type of battery are you running it on? Is it VV/VW ? do you have it too high ?

it should have came with another coil, have you tried swapping them?

What does vape normally mean? The mini tanks are very small and you should be refilling at around half full. Sometimes you can get them to go down farther but the hits will get weak, and you might burn the coils if you just keep on vaping.

I loved my mini but hate filling all the time, and I mean all the time.

Im using ego-u battery and it is not vv, or vw. I have replaced 3 coils in a week it shouldn't be that. Normally means that I vape 2 hours 2 or 3 times a day and I usually refill when there is a quarter of juice left. Why at half full I always thought you almost empty them and then refill.

sometimes the coils are just no good. i acquired the BCV coils for the aspire nautilus yesterday and the first one i popped in tasted burnt and very little vapor production and over all was horrible. i tried another one that came in the same pack and BOOM, night and day. all i can say is switch it out and hopefully the problem goes away, good luck!

Most tanks recommend 1/3 full. Has to do with vacuum. I top mine off when ever convenient anywhere near half full.

I went through 3 coils its probably the thing with filling the tank

It could be bad coils the quality control on stock coils can be shocking.

I rebuild all my kanger coils and the difference is amazing. Even when I buy a new kanger tank I don't use the coil that comes with it I rip it apart and rebuild.

Currently I am using kanger emow mega and the upgraded enclosed dual coils which I believe is what you are probably using in your mini protank 3 I rebuild them to a vertical coil and it is an amazing vape, no burnt taste no gurgling or leaking.

Is it important how thick the wire is, I have one that is 0.2 mm thick.

I use 28 gauge kanthal for building my coils but you can use whatever you are comfy able with to build the coil to the resistance you require
