I hope i'm in the right place...just purchased a few LR 510 attys from TW. I'm using halo vape (menthol ice). I'm also going bridgeless/no wick and direct dripping onto coil. I find myself being able to only drip about 2 -3 drops, and i'm getting 3 hits before i get the burnt taste...I thought i would get less burnt taste since there is no mesh in there, but its still there...it's less than what it was, but it's still there. Should i be expecting this? Perhaps it's just a known fact i have to drip more often with the LR attys?

Again, i hope this didnt need to go to a specific forum, so i posted it under general.

what do you all think ? or is it just me ?or do i need to do something else to alleviate this issue ? thanks.

I'm not even close to knowing what I'm talking about (comforting, huh?), but from what I understand the LR atties do burn a lot hotter, don't last as long and go through juice "like nobody's business" (that's from my vendor's site). On another thread users were stating anywhere from 5-10 puffs with 2 or 3 drops. How many of those involved LR atties, I don't know, but I would guess most weren't, so 3 puffs might be near the norm.

I've got a couple of LRs on order. They were cheap enough and I'm curious. Some say the intensity of the hit is worth the shorter life span (and increased juice usage). What do you think, or have you decided yet? *lol*

I agree with the above statement. 4th drop and I'm tasting burnt taste. On 2-3 drops, i get 2-3 amazing hits, and vape that blows out of my ears. i guess im just not used to dripping ever 3 hits. On the regular 510 attys, 5 drops last me 12-14 hits, but then again...they were not LR, and were not burning as hot.

I guess i'll deal with it. I'm ordered another LR atty, that i'm not gonig to debridge, to see if there is a difference, but I don't think there is. If anything, the TH is stronger without the mesh and bridge, and less burn because there is less mesh to burn.

Thanks guys!

I also think it depends on the liquid you use too. but i'll have to keep redripping.

I got a LR atty with my Riva and love it. I notice that I do with certain darker juices, like coffee or chocolate but only when it needs a refill. I haven't had a problem with other flavors at all, other than the dry taste of the filler. I got the same result with a standard atomizer, though, so I would have to say that using LR doesn't seem to make any difference in taste.

anyone else getting this burnt taste?

I had the burnt taste several times on my LR atty (1.5ohm on Joye eGo).

I just got the LR atty yesterday and it's my first. I had to get used to the faster and hotter burn and drip more frequently, but the taste was so fabulous with my juice that I vaped the **** out of that thing. :vapor:

Today I have a wicked sore throat  so it's back to the normal resistance until I recover
