I finally bought a pro tank II mini and it has been awesome! but I have a big issue. I'm currently using aroma eliquid (70/30) I believe and the first tank was great absolutely no problems. I then filled with more aroma (different flavor exact same mix and thickness) and it started tasting burnt out of nowhere. I let it sit to see if I was vaping too frequently and that didn't help. I pulled one flavor wick out and that just caused lack of vapor due to it absorbing too much I thought. I can't seem to find a fix. I'm at work but I changed out coil with one from my evod and it was great for about 20 drags and it's now burnt taste too. this is incredibly frustrating because I thought I finally found a happy medium. I'm using a standard ego battery.

bump/ update... so I have a evod and a protank 2 mini at work. I took the protank coil and put it in my evod to see if it's the coil and it wasn't it vaped very well. I am wondering if its just a actual tank issue/ lack of juice feeding? I put a new coil in pro tank and now it's fine. so I'm not really sure what the culprit was.

Today I discovered one of the reasons I was getting a burnt taste now and then, and it was quite simple. I was just screwing the head on too tightly. When you do that, that rubber thingy that sits above the wicks gets pushed down over the wick blocking the juice from getting to it. If you want to try and see if that might be the problem, pull the rubber piece up off the wicks. When you screw the head onto your tank, the tank will automatically push the rubber piece down to where it belongs. Don't screw it on tightly, just snugly. Hope that helps.

You might try flipping the rubber gasket piece above the wicks upside down; I have heard that air bubbles from the wicks can get trapped in it, causing wicking issues which might account for the burnt taste you have been getting. Also helps to give the coil head a quick wipe down with a paper towel and blow any excess liquid out between filling. This mostly resolves flooding issues which sounds contrary to the problems you are experiencing, but tends to improve overall performance all the same. Might help dropping the voltage/wattage setting you're vaping at as well.

Hope some or all of that helps!

I'm here, when I'm here
I have 2 KT Mini Pro Tank II. The one I put juice in, other than a tobacco flavor, no problem. Mar Light, Mar Red and RY4 I've used in the 2nd tank. Starts out just fine. (new coils in both) After about a day, usually less, I start to get a burnt taste every now and then (just hit 80 puffs on the "puff counter"). I have a Innokin itastvv 3.0 with the vw currently set at 6.0. That's the lowest it will go. I've tried it at 7.0 up to 9.0w (0.5 increments) and that seems worse. Can't go lower than 6.0w and my coil is a 2.2ohm. Could it be just tobacco flavors are a problem in the mini? I don't seem to have a problem with tobacco flavors in my Evod.

Interesting, I should note something then. The first tank I ran P38 menthol and it was awesome. I then mixed in some of their RY4 with a little menthol remaining, and it was doing ok for a simlar amount to yours. It then started to hit and taste burnt.
