So I have a smok Extender and im using a kayfun Lite Plus with the Double Barrel Coil at .69 ohms. I bought a 18650 segeli battery and when I vape im getting burnt tasting hits. I can flood the atomizer chamber and get one or two good tasting hits but it wears off. is there anything I can do to avoid constantly flooding the chamber?

Sounds like you don't have enough wicking action to support the coils. If the wicks, and I'm assuming cotton here, are fit too tightly to the coils, or they are "rolled" to densely, they will restrict juice delivery to coil surface area.
Wick length, air flow setting and juice PV/VG ratio can also have an effect on wicking action... aka "capillary action".

Simple, the Kayfun is not a sub ohm topper. Build yourself a 1.25-1.5 ohm coil.
Although I might agree that 1.0~1.3Ω is an excellent general purpose resistance for KF type attys... I would disagree that they are "not a sub-ohm topper" under any circumstances.

I have two, unmodified R91%'s (going right now) with 26 ga. 0.7Ω single coils (10 wrap, 1.5mm ID) on mechs - and have no dry or hot hit issues at all. The reason for this particular resistance is that I have several juices that provide improved flavor at 0.7Ω, than at 1.0Ω+.
