I just ordered a EGO pas threw and a Vision Clearomizer v3 and had a few questions. I keep my pv with me at all times. Im using a nuvocig with the stock Cartomizers. I keep it in my side pocket of my shorts.

Now the questions is if I do the same thing with my new clearo will it leek in my pocket or the center to the batteries.

what is the differences between a tank and a clearo and would a tank soot be better?

I have had no leak problems with the clearomizers and I put my PV in my pocket also..

I forgot to mention it will be on its side quite often. will that matter? or will it drain down the center to the batteries?

Walking around you will be OK, but take it out when you sit down or drive. Plastic clear tubes on clearos are pressed onto the fitting where the threads are. Over time, they crack and loosen. Gentle handing is the best way to lengthen that time.

Cartos are best for out and about. I've been carrying and eGo or a Provari with a carto on it for a couple of years in whatever pocket it will fit in. Cartos are metal tubes and the threaded end is tightly pressed in.

There's been a few stories about plastic shell tanks coming apart in pockets. Be easy on them. I carry a Smoktech DCT tank in my pocket, but only when I'm standing up or walking around. So far, so good.

If you wear a pair of cargo pants, and put it in the big side pocket, you should be fine...otherwise go with a carto.
Yes, cartomizers are refillable. There are several different brands. Boge, Smokteck,and Kanger are the most popular.

I don't know about one brand of carto over another but a Viva Nova has metal tanks available.

About all you can do is try for yourself.
Viva Nova seems interesting. Some people love it, some not, like everything else. They're not that expensive ($13?) so could pay for themselves easily within a week (compared to cigarettes).
The clearo should pay for itself quickly (hopefully it lasts long enough to pay for itself).
As you try more things you get an idea of what you like.

That's a type of tank. I don't see those as much different than a carto (I'm not a fan of fillers).
