burnt up atty

i bought a 510 for my mom since she admired mine so much. today she came up to me and said she wasn't getting any smoke...odd since its her second day using it..fresh battery liquid full little to no vapor. i noticed her atty smelled awful so i switched them out and it works fine now. so i cleaned the atty of the smell by boiling, blowing, drying, sit in rice for a few hours....i direct dripped her liquid onto the atty and NO VAPOR. the liquid is not cheap dekang either its from geoff at tasty vapor. ive been using geoff's blue bulls for a few weeks now. so i am sure it is not the liquid its 90%pg as well. so its not thick. so how in the hell could she burn through an atty in ONE day?

I would suspect she ran it dry. That can kill an atty pretty quick and if it does it can leave a foul burned taste in there that will never come out.

I agree with cskent, it sounds as though the atty was allowed to dry out, and this will kill them faster than anything.
