get the IGO_L fastech like $7 comes precoiled drip tip and all
boing rebuilds are so easy
far easier then rebuilding T3's and evod's
next on the list for me is trying micro coil which they say changing cotton all you do it pull it out dry burm the coil and put new cotton in
And the flav I had with silica alone has far surpassed those clero"s
cant wait to do cotton

I've hit a brick wall. My 'resistance' ;) to wrapping coils and doing my own RBA's is now causing actual pain. In the wallet that is. I'm finding out if I want to enjoy my 100% VG juices I am going to have to do something different. Clogged cartos, gunked up protank heads and all that stuff is starting to add up money-wise. If protank heads were 4 for $1 it would be different. Then it's finding someone who has them in stock at a decent price and in the resistance I want. I think I've gone as far as I can without doing at least an RSST tank or something.

Had a go at one coil and about fried a VV device and battery and it scared me off a little. I am just not tech savvy and I've been warned by people who know this stuff not to try it unless I know what I'm doing. I ordered a HH357 and that will probably work, but after awhile that coil is going to get gunked too. WAH!

I know eventually there is going to be something factory produced but until then it's aggravating. :2c:

I feel ya OP. I hit that point last weekend and dropped $50 on an IGO-W RDA with every type of wick and coil I could find. It should be here tomorrow, just in time because I'm on my last eGo-c head for my ECA on my eVic. Damn things are about $5 each and I can't get one to last more than three or four days.

Watching a bunch of PBursardo's vids made me turn the corner. He just put in his review queue the Fogger V2, a RBA Taifun clone, and that's the one I'm really looking forward to seeing. He's also on the micro-coil bandwagon now too.

Make 2, then you get 0.75. There ya go, there's your "math". Easy as pie.

I don't even know what 0.75 is. Thats not even a number. Its 3 numbers and a dot. I know 0.50 is half of 1 ohm right? so if I spin two 1 ohm coils I'll have half an ohm right? I'm not confident with my math enough to do that. I'll stick to one coil. :p But if 0.50 makes half of 1.00 (50) then what the heck is 0.05? half of 0.50? so 0.05 = 0.025? Fractions and decimals and multiplication and division and algebra are stoopit. The numerical system starts with 0 or 1 for a reason. U cant use numbers to explain half of 1. What is half of 0? 0.00? The only fraction I used in school was 1/8th.

I swore I'd never learn to wrap a coil. Didn't want to take the time to learn and in my own head I made the process more daunting than it actually is.
I took my never ever ever mentality, put it in my pocket and proceeded to buy an IGO-S, RSST and a Trident.
Money spent on Kanthal (28g), mesh, ceramic wicks, cheesecloth.........only to discover out of all that, I like micro coils and cotton--go figure.

I was terrified of the thought of making my own coils. I was the only guy in high school electronics whose radio didn't work. I got a Rio Mini 2.1 this week, and then decided to get a Reomizer 2, at the gentle urgings of several Reonauts. ;)

I built my first coil yesterday, using 30 gauge Kanthal, it was too high, my second one came in at 1.1 ohms, and was excellent, up until I tried adjusting it and messed it up today. Tonight I made two coils, the first was higher than I wanted, but the second was 1.4 ohms, which is where I like it.

It's not easy for me yet, I don't have the most steady hands, and I've never been good with tiny screws and such, but I'm comfortable building coils, and I'm getting a really great vape from them.

For those of you complaining about math. Lets say you want a 1.5 ohm dual coil. Lets do this in money. You need twice the amount to equal where you want to be. So for $1.50 you need $3.00. For 75cents you need $1.50. Most devices unless mechanical wont like under 1.2 ohms. So to wrap a dual coil 1.2 ohm you need 2.4 per coil.

I will. And while he's stressing over 0.75, which brings back traumatic memories of being told "you're not applying yourself" in algebra, I'll eat 3/4 of the pizza.
