your button getting hot is not a good sign - could be a minor short or eventual battery failure

what is the resistance of your coil and what battery are you using (manufacturer, product #, amp rating, mah rating)
also make sure the battery shows no damage or wear

too low of resistance with an inadequate battery will cause a button to heat up - is the battery getting hot also?

is this your first ecig?

some required battery reading for mechanicals

I am asking the question for a friend and do not have the exact details of what battery he is using. I found this thread about the issue and was wondering if the electrolytic grease ended up working for the guy. I would try to reply to that thread or send him a message but I don't know how to exactly.

Edit. Apparently I am not allowed to post links yet. If you type "Maraxus button getting hot" into google, the first result is an ECF forum on the issue.
