Okay, I'm officially confused. So, the ejuice producers don't use Aspartame in the mix? So, what makes it sweet?

By the way...speaking of not getting what you think you're getting. Many honey growers use sugar water to feed their bees. Because a bee will live up to 5 times longer if they live inside of a "Bee Barn" - not having to fight the elements. Thus, the growers feed the bees sugar water since they don't have flower fields to feed from inside the barns. There's a swich-a-roo for ya! That's why using organic or Agroliving bees honey is far better.

"To the best of my knowlege" it's sucralose. Those like myself who don't like the taste can identify it. I really don't think aspartame could be used without the flavor being a dead give away immediately. But I don't make the juice. I can't tell you it's not used at all.

I have a local bee keeper I get my honey from. MMMMM organic honey. I really don't know how you define organic honey. The bees are allowed to fly wherever they want. I know they will fly for miles to get good pollen. How can anyone say definitively that the flowers they found were grown under organic conditions. I know you can provide a good source of wild flowers and such, but you can't tell them to only choose those flowers.

We all have different definitions of harm reduction that need to be determined on an individual basis. The funniest conversation I ever had was with a friend I have who is obsessed with working out and what he eats. For him, harm reduction is eating turkey bacon. For me, it's naturally raised, non processed, (minimally proccessed?) and nitrite free.

But it does sicken me a little that diet sodas are presented as posing less harm when they have been shown time and time again to be more harmful.

I agree completely that one can't really define "organic" nor ensure it when it comes to Bees. Still, just cuz' it's honey doesn't mean it's good...because of the "sugar water" fed Bees really are just producing honey flavored sugar.

I'm just happy to know that Aspartame isn't the main sweetener used in eJuice. More because of my almost allergic reaction to the stuff. Why does somebody go off and state something like that!?

Well if it wasnt for the sugar content of honey you would be able to Lolz as it is... If you were to water down honey with pg and throw in some nicotine. You would probably get maybe 10-30 puffs on an atomizer before the sugar would completely coat the coil... Maybe there is a way to replace the sugar inside honey with something safe, and still keep the original flavor of the honey? Idk im no chemist!

My point exactly. Chemicals such as aspartame and the other one mentioned(Sucralose I believe?) I had a black tea peach flavor once... It was omg delicious... But it murdered carto after carto... I went through about 15 cartos on half of the bottle before I said enough is enough .... Could its murderous nature be from the sweetener used? XD

The thing about Aspartame, cigarettes, alcohol, junk food, and a host of other things that can cause health problems is that people always have the option to say "no". Choice is a wonderful thing.

You do have the option of buying e-liquid without artificial sweetners, just as you have the option to not drink diet soda if the thought of aspartame is scary.

One could also get on a soapbox and rant about perfumes and dyes in products (upsets folks with allergies), genetically modified food (see also "Roundup Ready"), fast food advertising, vaccinations, and a host of other things that seem like science gone wild.

There is plenty of crap in this world that can kill us / make us sick. *shrug*

If you react in an unpleasant way to something, stop using it. If something is called "bad" for you by someone, laugh because everything in some way is bad for us, even breathing. We're all going to die. That's part of life. How I get from point A to point B is what matters to me. I don't use the artificial sweeteners if I can avoid it, not because they are claimed to be bad, but that they taste like crap. I like real cane sugar, maple sugar, and honey as sweeteners. I can taste the artificial sweetener in my vapes. It kind of bugs me. Sweeter flavors have more of it.

What's the number 1 cause of death for a human? Stupidity. Doing dumb things can kill us. We can't ban being stupid. It'd be nice, but it's not possible. Anything and everything can kill us, we're fragile blood and bone sacks. Do you realize how easy it is to fall and break your neck? So I don't worry about what is called "bad" by various groups. Something is going to kill me eventually. I want to enjoy myself, so if I like it, I do it.

The OP had a strong opinion based on personal experience. However, you failed to inform the reader of your personal experience but jumped right into know-it-all sounding language. Just because you have an opinion that no one else should have an opinion....hate to break it to you, but that doesn't mean diddly squat. It just means you're rigid and believe yourself to be right. But again, you're assuming others actually care about what you think or believe. You can have an opinion, you can express it too, but don't expect others to be taunted into arguments or care enough to do so.

If you spend all your time worrying when are you living?
