I've been collecting supplies to start messing around with DIY and I'm unsure about the nicotine I bought from Liberty Flights. I ordered 2 - 30ml bottles of 24 mg of unflavored nicotine ($17.98 shipped free) but I don't know what the base is. They don't explain that anywhere that I can find. Is this in a PG base?

Most of their best-selling flavors were out of stock, but I have some coming from Capella and Perfumer's Apprentice so I should have enough to do something with. They were also out of pipettes and syringes. 6ml and 10ml empty bottles are on order and I have 4oz of VG. Is there anything else I'll need to buy before I jump in? :)

It's probably PG but I would contact them to make sure. Sounds like you know what you need. I would definately recommend using a 3ml syringe when doing your mixes, much more accurate then drops. This way you can have exact measurements when you make a juice you really like you can reproduce it accurately. Just my 2cents.

I've made purchases from Perfumers Apprentice and Xtreme and they are both fantastic companies to work with. PA has maltol crystals and sweetener.

I ordered from PA and it should be here today or tomorrow, but I didn't even look at the pipettes or Maltol. I did buy some Cotton Candy from either PA or Capella.

XtremeVaping... back to shopping. :)

Added: Just went out to the mailbox and it was full! Already received PA and Capella orders! I love the glass bottles and custom look of the PA. Plus a nice handwritten note on the packing slip. Capella never responded to my email with my first order regarding being charged twice for shipping when they combined two orders. Not that big a deal but it's the little things that make you want to order from a company sometimes.

XtremeVaping turns out to be a good value. Naturally shipping was high but it's the actual cost not inflated by the supplier. I bought a jug of VG, PG and 36mg nic and some pipettes. I should be all set to make some good juice!!

Between Capella and PA I have 15 different flavors so now to the recipe files here. ;)

Thanks everyone!!

I couldn't find anything on their website or in my account that said what the base is. I sent them a message early this morning but haven't heard back.

Unless they say specifically, you can probably assume it is PG. Vendors make a big deal if it is VG.

I second and third the suggestion of a syringe. It just makes things safer, more accurate and faster.

I got mine at JuicyLiquid.com, but they are cheaper here (you'll have to register):

Sign In - Discount Pet Supplies, Pet Supply, Online Pet Supplies

You might have taken care of but plastic dropper bottles will be useful for your juices:

Cylinder and Boston Round Bottles with Dropper Caps | U.S. Plastic Corp.

Best to not buy these from a PV vendor, as they will be very expensive.

And I like these glass bottles for highh-nic unflavored, VG or PG and distilled water:

Amber Eurodropper Bottles

They come with a plastic "euro-dropper" insert for the bottle-mouth. Has a small hole that an 18 gauge blunt needle can get through for dispensing liquid via syringe, and with the inserts in they will not spill. Spilled high-nic juice is a serious problem. You are smart to start at somewhat lower nic levels until you get it all figured out.

Oh, and get lots of paper towels! You'll need them.
Good luck!
