Hi everyone, I am ready for the next step. I have a vamo 3 and want that consistent vape. I would like to use my ibtanked tanks on it. Any way, just have a few questions, any help would be appreciated, it is a lot of money and want to make sure before I buy.

1- I would like to buy the Mini Provari. Is there any difference between the mini and non mini version besides the size and battery they take? Any less features on the mini?

2- if I buy the extension they sell for the mini, can I use my 18650 batteries that I have for my vamo?

3- does the mini have a puff counter?

4- is Provape the official website to order from? Want to make sure I am ordering from the right place.

5- is there going to be a new version of the Provari out soon? Shall I wait?

6- last question lol, I see a Provari 1 much cheaper, what's the difference.

Thank you in advance.

Both have the exact same processor board inside. The only difference is in the battery length they can use and the machined engravings on the stainless steel body.

No, the battery cap extension will allow you to use the 18490 battery instead of the defaut 18350 battery. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=u4qFQMlYl7g

You can purchase aftermarket extension sleeves (ie Tatroe Rings) to be able to use an 18650 battery in the Mini. http://www.cigtechs.com/Tatroe-Mods_c_66.html

Really? That's important? No, it does not have a puff counter. No "bells & whistles" from Provape.

Yes it is the official website, and the cheapest place to purchase a new Provari.

Provape does sell Provari's as inexpensive as $140 for slightly blemished models and unblemished version 2.0 at discount to get rid of their stock. Both have full 1 year warranties. http://www.provape.com/category-s/37.htm

No. And no.

The Provape 1 is a small-sized semi-mechanical mod that uses a 14500 battery. It does have some kind of electronic processor for safer vaping, but no variable voltage. It has a lifetime warranty.

Two Tatroe extension sleeves (and a base, you can use the regular cap instead) on my black Mini Provari to allow use of an 18650 battery. The blue Provari is a standard size in 18490 mode.

1 The mini does the same that the full size does, 2 You need to buy the batteries that is recommended by provape, I would also suggest you get a pila charger. I think you have to buy two, of the extensions to use the 18650 batteries, 3 No puff counter, 4 provape is the only site to buy from, 5 Who knows?, 6 I was just asking the same question, I got no answer, but it is not a vv or vw device, I think it is just a large version of the ego c battery, that uses battery out put voltage. I am not sure of this.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Provari. I can answer some of your questions.
There is no difference in quality or features from the mini and the standard.
The mini can be use with an 18490 battery with the extension cap. The standard will handle a 18650 with the extension cap.
Provape does not offer a puff counter. (confused why you would want one)
Provape is the official website for the Provari. (After all they are the ones your gonna send it to for repairs).
There are different companies that offer a extended cap to use an 18650 in the mini. (never liked the looks of them. Sorry I can't remember who makes it. Doesn't match the finish IMHO)
The Provape 1 is a small cig look a like. No VV or other features of the Provari. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
I don't know of any new models to come out. They just went from the V2 to the V2.5. Only difference is cosmetic. Looks only. Everything else is the same.
Best mod you will ever own.
Pictures are worth a thousand words. This is what I think of my Provari's. :D
I like em enough to own 6 of them.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate all the responses. I guess a few of you commented on the puff counter. The puff counter is not a factor for buying the Provari mini, I was just curious if it had it. I have this feature on my MVP and really like it. I like to track down how many puffs I take in a day. Some of the flavors I have are really good and can get carried away vaping too much.

I think I am going with the Satin color. Nice and basic.

Thank you all again for your detailed responses.
