Provari upgrades

So i just ordered a Vamo, but am really liking the idea of a Provari for a few reasons:
US product
Easy to get service
US company
HQ product with good track record.

Question is, if i ordered a V2 right now, and they came out with a variable wattage version, would i be stuck having to buy a variable wattage version OR would i be able to send the V2 that i get in to have it upgraded? Not too familiar with the upgrading of provaris, but would like to know so i can decide to get one in the future to have the Vamo as a backup. TIA

Thanks, did some searching but didn't see that. so essentially getting a Provari now...and i'll always be able to upgrade (software) with the same unit down the road.

That's nice, I will probably bite the bullet on one soon(ish)
