Congrats... they are beautiful. The only way I was able to do them any justice in a photo is a hi-res very large picture, then you are able to see the grain and detail. But they are to big to post in forums ad place in banners! You got a taste of it in the photo I made for your desktop though!

I'm so happy that you're happy marv! Vape it in good health. :)

Thank you all. I will :)

Unbelievably beautiful. You were right when you said that these look so much better in real life. They do look very good in pictures too - but in real life they're just stunning!

I try to create at least one HDR-image (high dynamic range image) to capture more details. Will link it here too...Now back to vaping :2cool:

M'kay. I couldn't get my hands on DSLR-camera (my colleague is on sick leave for the rest of the week) so I used my 10 years old Canon G2 instead :( I really need a new camera...

Well anyway...here's my HDR-try as promised (stacked from 5 different exposures)

I like this PV more and more as the days go vaping by :) Oh, joy :2cool:

Pretty good pic for a "crappy" camera. :p

Thanks :) I guess it's ok. Picture is composed from five different images with five different exposures. It took me ages to get those exposures right. I guess nowadays there are cameras which can take series of HDR-optimized exposures and automatically combine them to one HDR with just one push of a button. Would love to have one of those... I just have too many hobbies and not enough money (or time).

VERY NICE @!!!! both of my favorite things Guitars and Vape Machines !!

BTW I have well humm 13 guitars and basses I think >??????

13 Guitars! Holy cow! I have like...let me count...um... two. That Ibanez S420 and RG1570 Prestige model. I wish I could buy someday a nice white Ibanez Jem, the one which Steve Vai plays. I'm a huge fan of Steve Vai's music - he's just out-of-this-world-unbelievable guitar player :)

I have two acoustic and one electric... but they just gather dust since I stopped the nail biting and let my nails grow long!

As a guitar player I must say that I'm a bit sad to hear that :( Guitar playing is such a nice hobby. On the other hand I must also admit that I was once about to stop playing as well. I got frustrated at one point since I felt that my playing was going nowhere. I tried to play way too difficult things, failed, and got disappointed. But I got over that and I'm glad that I did. Nowadays I don't set the bar too high - I just enjoy playing and if I ever got stuck again I just take a break and vape :)

I never really played. Not sure how I got the acoustics even, I have had them forever though. When I did mess around with them a bit decades ago I was able to play 3 songs, Wish you were here, parts of stairway to heaven and hotel california. About 20 years ago I taught the hubby who never played a note Wish You Were Here, and he took it from there and has taught himself to play pretty much whatever he wants. That is where the electric guitar came from, it is a fender stratocaster and I got it for him as a present shortly after we were married.

As soon as I saw Marv's awesome pic I knew you were gonna love it Mike! That needs to go on your FB page :)

Beautiful Marv!

Thanks Bov :) I think my pic has a bit too much going on. Guitar is stealing some of the attention, so it's not instantly obvious what's the subject of the picture. But of course you can use that picture if you like - you have my permission, absolutely.

Excellent choice for a present I must say! I've never played genuine American Fender stratocaster, but one of my friends spent few months in Texas many years ago as an exchange student, and when he came back, he brought a Mexican stratocaster with him. It was a pretty nice one. The neck was a tad too thick for my hands, but otherwise it was pretty cool :)
