In my opinion these coils are the pinnacle of the vaping world the closest thing to a rebuildable you will get excellent vapor and excellent flavor but there is 1 downside to these lovely coils longevity; i have now been through 5 packs which is 25 BVC coils each coil has lasted no longer than 4 days with constant use i have seen people say theres have lasted 1-2 weeks but in my experience they are either lying or somebody is changing there coils while they sleep.. i have noted the life span of each coil in a note book 15 have been 4 nights exactly before flavor loss and muted flavor and they have to be changed the other 10 have lasted 3 nights.. i am not complaining as i dont mind changing the coils this often but some people may find 4 days abit tedious especially if they are used to the new kanger coil which you get 1-3 weeks no problem at all.. but my conclusion is that the BVC is a flawless vape and is worth the extra cash and small hassle of changing the coil every few days.. all my coils are genuine BVC coils and are not fakes or clones.. i prime the coil by dropping a few drops of liquid directly into the coil upon every refill and when i put in a new coil drop a few drops onto the coil fill up and leave overnight to let the coil saturate correctly.... my juice ratio is 55/45 pg/vg

cheers for taking the time to read my opinion on the BVC Coil from aspire

LOL, I was thinking that. Mine last a few weeks. But everyday I drain out the dark liquid and refill it with fresh liquid. And I think your routine of soaking a coil overnight to make sure it saturates properly-you got that right! I think your first draw can ruin the saturation and operation of a new coil.

I think maybe some people have more sensitive taste buds and are sensitive to any changes. I normally toss a coil when the strength of the vapor draw dwindles.

I have been using them for the past 7 weeks. Each cool has worked flawlessly for 7-10 days. 4-5 mls per day on each cool. Using 50/50 juice, light to medium amber in color. Voltage ranges 4.3-4-5.
Your tastebuds may be more sensitive to your flavors. I'm running 4 tanks so you may also be pushing more juice through a coil than I am. I'm getting 40-50 mls per coil.
I agree that they are excellent.

I think time is relative to use. A better measure of this would be how many ml your getting out of each coil. I am having most last about 30ml. Darker juice seems to gunk them fast and lead to a burnt or odd taste. I turn down the wattage to make them go a little farther. I vape a variety of pg/vg but most are more vg heavy. I am not sure if that has made a difference or not at this point. Some liquids dont mention the concentration, but based on vapor production i figure those are at least 50/50. When i have a choice i get 40/60 pg/vg based.

So, how many ml are you guys getting out of these??

I can get about 60ml + out of either the BVC or the BDC could on my bigger 5ml tank without issue.

Even though I go through the motions and soak all our used coils in vodka for anywhere from 8 hours on up to several days, In general I think it's best to replace the coils.

We're now taking to the practice of putting coils into a plastic bag and then labeling the bag with the juice name that the coil was used on, as the only reason that we really have for trying to clean them over here is when we switch juice flavors, so it's just easier to put it in a plastic bag, write on the bag the name of the juice and reuse the coil next time we load up that juice.

We just went through all of our "cleaned" coils tonight and threw away at least 1/2 if not 3/4 of the ones that we cleaned simply by trying them out against a new coil and seeing that they should have just been chucked instead of cleaned. We kept a few for emergency spares for like midnight when your coil burns out and the stores are all closed and you have no more new ones.

I soak and dry too. Been putting mine in a seven day pill box on rotation. Used ones worked fine till yesterday when a couple acted as you described. Going with new coils now and yep, keep some for emergencies.
