For me, I look for the drop in Vapor when taking a draw. I cleaned a BVC coil the way I do other coils and it helps, but is not like new. I figure that I can do a rinse under HOT water in an emergency, but, I tend to just replace them. I have been doing about 25ml before they lose their vapor. Viscosity of the juice does make a big difference. Heavier VG ratio is the culprit, I think.

Hope helps

I have heard a lot of people complaining about quality control re the aspire BVC over various threads.

Due to this and that I am a skinflint I have stuck with Kanger gear and re-build all my own coils. have just started building vertical coils in my old kanger heads and the vape is amazing. Can also build them in the new upgraded enclosed heads.

Here is a thread I posted on how to do it

I find that building your own is more reliable than buying stock coils due to lack of Q.C.
