I feel sort of responsible for you buying the MVP Joan. I remember that I had just gotten my MVP when you joined ECF. I had only been here for a few months, and I was just upgrading from Egos and Spinners. To me, at the time, it felt like the perfect device. It was such a big step up from what I had been using. It lasted me for a few days, had VV/VW, and went all the way up to 11 watts! Wow so much better than the Spinners! I was also thinking of getting into rebuilding, and it read ohms. I could also recharge it when I was on a long car ride using my cellphone chord. I couldn't imagine anyone not having good luck with it, and I remember telling you about how great it was. I felt kind of guilty when you didn't love it like I did.

I'm still not sorry I bought mine, it kept me satisfied for a long time, and I still use it while driving because my Spinners died a long time ago. Only problem is that now, when I go to use it, I don't get a very satisfying vape. I got spoiled by my better stuff.

I don't think I would ever buy another device with a proprietary battery. Even though my MVP is still going a year later, it seems like such a waste that when the battery doesn't hold a charge any more, the whole device will be dead. With the E-Mech, I can just put new batteries in.

(For anyone wanting the E-Mech, Bruce can special order them for you, just pm him, that's how I got mine, at a very good price)!

I remember when i got my mvp,i thought it was the best thing ever, for about a week haha.It was definitely an upgrade from the little ego twist i started with, but by the time i got the mvp i already had a vamo v5,since the vamo went up to 15 watts, the mvp felt a bit like a downgrade in that aspect.I will give the mvp credit though, that is what first got me interested in box mods, plus now it is keeping my son off cigarettes,so it still lives on.
I seen a few posts mentioning the emech,i have been thinking of picking one of those up.I really like dovpo's stuff.I have the Dovpo GX-200 that i won here in a contest, and i love this thing. It's my first dual battery mod,and i like the fact that it lasts forever haha,i only have to charge maybe once a week, which i only use it after i get home from work, but still gets probably 3-4 hours of use each day,and alot more on the weekends.

Following along the lines of protank base replacements thread earlier.. A base off a Protank mini will work on the Protank. Works good when using a MVP or atop a EGO spinner. I'd go out on a limb and say the newer mini version will work too.

You can put a ProTank base on a ProTank mini as well. Looks weird, but hey if can't find your adaptor and want to run a mini on your istick.

I use my pt 2 mini with the adjustable airflow bottom of the pt 2

It will pick up again soon.

Is there much difference between the Pro Tanks and the Aerotanks? I never really checked into them since I got and liked the Aerotanks.

To the best of my knowledge, the original aerotank is essentially a Pro Tank 3 with the airflow controller. The aerotank v2 updated the airflow controller and changed the drip tip to the rounded "kayfun"-style tip. That said, since the PT3 uses the dual coil heads whereas the PT2 did not, I suspect that the central chimney shaft is shorter in the aero vs. the PT2. Not having a PT, I don't know if there are any other differences.

The Kanger aerotank clearomizer offers the same great features and performance as the Kanger Clearomizer protank series, but with the introduction of stainless material made with dual coil heads inside! The aerotank is still using 510 threaded.
Updated in Kanger aerotank
Airflow control base
Food grade Stainless steel body
Pyrex tank is replaceable
Glue Free: All parts are replaceable
Can be fitted with 510 Drip tip
Coil works with Protank-3

Can always use bottles. Thought I had quite a few then I mixed up a few things and realized they might not last long.
The work network has some things blocked on us so I have no idea of what your picture is - will have to check back when I get home.

Always considered it a waste of space in the shipping container if they weren't filled with a tasty eliquid....

I did once purchase a few 15 mL bottles that have a 3/4 inch long sturdy plastic nozzle & snap-on cover, they work great for filling tanks, dripping, and making small test batches. Went out of stock and never saw them anywhere again....:(

I take the colored caps a bit further. I try to put drip tips on my tanks that match or are very similar to the color of the caps on that flavor juice bottle. A couple of my juices are very similar in color and this helps me keep them straight. For you folks with dozens of juice flavors. Sorry, you are just chit out of luck..LAUGHSSS

So, I got this Kanger Subtank mini in the mail the other day. The wife thinks its cool looking and thinks it has two functions.

1. It supplies my body with nicotine which in turn keeps away the demons.
2. I am easier to find as most of the time all you have to do is listen for the whistling sound of a small jet taking off.

Man, love the flavor this thing kicks out but that wide open airflow is noisy as hell.....:2cool:

Nicely put and I can see where that would be helpful. I can't get past the thought that your socks probably match your underwear.
