Sub ohming really doesn't give you great flavor, it's made for clouds, but I get a ton of clouds even vaping at 1.1 ohms. The only reason I am using 0.5 right now, is because I am using a prebuilt coil in my Kanger Subtank. When I build it myself, I will probably aim for 1.1 ohms, since I am using it on my E-Mech, and can vape it at whatever wattage my juice tastes good at.

I don't mean to offend, maybe you do understand sub ohming, but your answer puzzled me.
It depends on what you're vaping on. Everything I vape is subohm. My main drippers are all big flavor producers & known for it.

I find equating dripping with sub-ohm exclusively to be mildly humorous. I have been dripping with a wide variety of toppers for 4 1/2 years, have tried sub-ohm a number of times and have found it, just not my cup of tea...YMMV

If you look back at the discussions of dripping from years ago, the argument over which was best was very different. Did the 901 really have better flavor, did eGo Type B attys always gurgle, was a 306 atty the ultimate dripping atty, did stovepiping really make a difference....none were sub-ohm.

There is still a pretty large number of drippers who have not signed on to sub-ohm....

Okay - I've got a serious question that I hope I can get a serious answer to . . .

What is the fascination with "Chasing Clouds" and making as much vapor as can be made ? ? ?

Does it really do anything, other than to fill up a room with a blue haze that - IMO - is worse then "smoke" ever was ? ? ?

Wow! Do you do that while you are driving???!!!

That set-up yes but that's in my garage with a slow exhale just for the pic.
When driving with that set-up I blow it out the window so I can still see the road.
This is my major cloud maker (but still has good flavor)

Maybe I am old but don't see the fascination with the big clouds. My son goes for clouds but not HUGE ones and really annoying in the car. The car windows haze up from vaping differently than they did from smoking, probably because of the humectant properties of pg and vg. No real problem cleaning the car windows...used Sprayway. In the house though, I am having a real problem getting the windows clean. Tried Sprayway, Windex with vinegar, vinegar/water. Paper towels, cotton towels, shamwow, microfiber cloths, crumpled newspaper... they look great for a bit but by night they show hazy streaks again.

Stosh..my little Scar is single coil, I have my stuff set up single coil if at all possible. I have a few subohm coils but not real low... .9 or .7
I still love and use my Evod tanks but also use Areotanks, which are dual coil but easy on the juice. I suck up enough juice in a day without multiple coils. Don't use drippers really but the tank is what is more important to me... most of my juices are tank eaters so metal or glass tanks a must.

I guess I was thinking of sub ohmers as being mostly drippers using RDAs, which is the opposite of thinking of drippers as being sub ohmers. Yeah, I remember researching those 901's and 306's, I even bought some refillable cartridges with 510 connections at a cigarette shop so I could try it in those. Still have a bunch, but I really prefer my RDAs. I try to build them at around 1 ohm, so I don't really subohm either.

I sort of wondered that too. I need a good amount of vapor, maybe for psychological reasons, because if I don't have it, I feel like I didn't get a good vape. Sort of like cigarette smoke when I was still smoking. Watching the vapor come out like I used to watch my smoke come out when I had a cigarette makes me feel more satisfied, but when I am around other people who don't vape, it bothers me to see the vapor, because I worry about it bothering them.

Even though I like a decent amount of vapor, I don't feel like I have to obscure the room though, and I have no desire to do it. Maybe it's because I am old!

I think you have a point there. Also, when smoking, you would get that feeling in your lungs--you knew the smoke was there--that you don't get with vaping. Seeing the vapor is sort of the confirmation that it is all working, I suppose.

Yeah, it does help to have that confirmation. I also still like to have some throat hit, maybe because I can't feel it in my lungs. I still remember how I would feel when I had gone too long without a cigarette. Having that first one after a couple of hours, and holding the smoke in my lungs for a while, and then watching the smoke come out was very satisfying.

I guess that's why I'm not trying to lower my mg's of nicotine. I know how easy it would be for me to go back to smoking if I didn't have my vaping equipment. I'm still very addicted to the nicotine and the act of smoking, and I still get jittery when I haven't vaped for a while.

Power keeps blinking here, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
