How do you keep the flavors from crossing over? Or do you just use a bunch of different atties so you get a fresh one for every flavor?

I just run it under hot water and let dry, some dry burn it dry as well. another way if you have some is use some flavorless VG. You can get a bottle of VG at WalGreen or WalMart cheap. Once you get past your old flavor and taste just the VG, you can add another flavor.

I know Bruce already answered you, but I used to use my first RDA, a Nimbus, on my Twists. I used to build it to whatever my Protank Coils were. (I can't remember the ohms because it's been a long time). It worked great for testing juices and getting into coil building.

Dripper is a good way to try juices you are making.

If you don't have a way to check the ohms of your build the VAMO-V5 will give you that ability and be a nice step up from the EGO.

I think this iStick would work to read ohms too! Once you try the Vamo or the iStick, you'll never want to go back to spinners again!

if you had the choice between a sigelei 150 watt mod and an ipv3, which would you go with, and why?

I would go with the IPV3.
Magnets strong enough to securely hold the back on the sigelei would play hell with the magnetic strips if you messed up and placed it near you debt/credit card.
I have a hard enough time keeping my cards working much less the possibility I "wiped" them with a magnet. No need to temp fate if you don't have to.

I'm the opposite, I'm thinking of getting the Sigelei because I like the magnets. I never thought about the credit card thing. I've got a mod with magnets that Bruce (Powerband) built a while back, and I love the magnets. I also got an E-Mech from Cactus a while back, and it's got two little levers that you just flip up to change batteries. It makes it so easy.

The Manhattan is a mech mod, so it doesn't have vv/vw. You build your coils to control the wattage.

The Manhattan would also work with tanks like the Atlantis or other tanks that use prebuilt coils, but will only deliver the wattage that those coils require. It's a very nice mech mod. I've used my Protanks, Nautilus and Subtank on mechs and gotten very good vapes.

If you want to get into rebuildables, this Magma is my very favorite, and it would last forever, where the bridgeless ATTY's are disposable. There is a list of rebuildable tanks and drippers here Rebuildable Atomizers. My favorite is the Magma, but I also really like the APO and Mephisto on that page. All three have airflow control, which is easy to use, and they are easy to build on.

I am basically telling you that because I quickly found out that I didn't really like the drippers I bought first after I tried the ones with airflow control. I have a lot of RDAs, but the one that is never out of my daily rotation is the Magma.

I was like you, and didn't really think I was ready to get into rebuildables, but then I saw the price of the bridgeless ATTYs and decided to bite the bullet and get the Nimbus and an ohms reader. I'm glad I did, even though I don't use the Nimbus any more. Building the coils really was easy.

This isn't my recipe,it's from one of the diy threads,but i can tell you,it's good stuff,and i'm not even a fruit person haha,but i've made this a few times now.



10% Capella Sweet Strawberry
5% LorAnn Cream Cheese Icing
3% TFA Bavarian Cream
3% TFA Vanilla Swirl
2% Capella Vanilla Custard
3% TFA Cotton Candy
1% TFA Sweetner

Looks like you got your answers. Many people use 510 atomizers to taste new juices they receive, as well. It's easy to simply get the taste down and see if it's worth keeping or not.

You will find with most juices, some handle high wattage and others hate high watts. I have alot of juice that taste burnt over 25 watts, so there you go. Now if you just want clouds, get a higher wattage device, but if you want flavor and some nice but not monster clouds go with the Istick 30 or maybe even a 50. i FIND MY SWEET SPOT IS FROM 20 TO 28 WATTS WITH ABOUT 28 BEING THE MOST USED....

damn caplocks, sorry, not correcting. That is on tanks and clearos, not a RTAs or RDAs. Also your kayfuns don't need high wattage as well, at least for me.....

I have some friends that got those 100+ devices that after the first couple of tries have never gone over 35 watts, so to each their own on wattage... I happen to like flavor and if I get big clouds, cool if just a little more than normal or big, that is a plus.....

I started with the old bridged atty's then the brideless ones and finally got into rebuilding. I guess it's the pace you want to take. Once you get into rebuilding, you open up a whole new world. Some take to it and others don't. Go by your own pace and do what feels comfortable to you.... You can vape and still never get into rebuilding. I still use my clearos, tanks and drippers all the time. In fact because of the time it takes to build (not that long) and always be redripping (pain in the behind, when you are reading or watching something), I have gone back to my old tanks and clearos alot more.

But again, to each their own. You are not here to impress others or follow the newest and so called best, you are here to quit smoking cigs and whatever works....

You are right Tick, everyone has their own comfort level, and we all have our own preferences. I was cheap, and didn't want to pay the price for prebuilt coils and ATTYs!
