I have been vaping for a little over 2 months now and it is turning into a little hobby. I have been learning a lot in this forum and having some fun too. I have been trying to prepare as D-day nears. It is a little hard to do being new to all this but I will order a few more things later tonight.

For now I want to have a little fun. This post is not for people like me who are laying in a few bottles of nic in the freezer. I want to hear from those who are SERIOUSLY prepared. For example:

- Do you have a backup generator for the freezer where the nic is stashed?

- Have you bought vg,pg or nic in 55 gal. drums?

- How many unopened mods and miles of wire do you have?

- etc

I look forward to hearing the replies.

Sorry if I put this in the wrong section.

You mean like having a list of which portable battery packs have the right batteries in the to scavenge or which household electrical items has the right gauge of wire in it.

Multiple local sources for the consumables.

I don't have any unopened mods. A few tanks though.

I've been true Vapocalypse vaping for 2 years, when I found what worked perfect for me to stay off smokes ... since then, I've been totally prepared for nothing to be available (no eLiquid, nicotine, mods, tanks, or coils). I knew BG was going to Hijack Vaping to protect BT and BP :glare:

Batteries, Cotton, Kanthal, PG/VG and food flavouring will always be available ... I'm not worried about the freezer either

I've even saved money since quitting smoking ... vaping has become cheaper than a daily cup of coffee for me

I'll be happy to share my inventory and welcome advice on any deficiencies.

For Gear:
1 IPV D2
1 IPV Mini 2
1 Sigelei 100 Plus
1 Sigelei 213
1 Fuchai 213
1 Lavabox DNA 200
1 IPV 400

3 Aspire Atlantis v1 tanks, 2 with tank expansions
1 Kanger Subtank and 1 mini
1 TFV4 and 2 mini's
1 Herakles and 1 Plus
1 Griffin RTA and 1 Griffin 25
1 Herakles RTA
1 TF RTA G2 and 1 TFV8
1 Freakshow RDA
1 Vaporgate Mason 30mm RDA

15 18650 batteries, 5 married pairs
About 6 months of spare coils for non-rebuildable tanks (debating with self whether to buy more or put some tanks in storage for possible future use)

Probably a year's worth of store bought juice and will add to that as availability and price allows
1 liter of 100mg VG nic (more to come as market dictates)
1 liter each PG and VG (should always be able to get more, but will watch market)
Can always use more mixing bottles, flavorings, wire, and cotton, but not worried about getting that.

So I figure I am good for 3 - 5 years with a few minor additions, closer to 10 years with another liter of nic. One advantage I have over most is at my age, I don't have to prepare for as long. Yippie, I think.

Well for me does 4 gallons PG/ VG qualify??? :) could not pass up the price LOL
I have quite a few mods now, mostly Provari's at 10, 3 Pico, 1 SVD, 3 Nemesis and 1 Reo. About 16 rebuilables tanks, old stuff too Cartos and carto tanks and Smoke Vivi. I still have quite a few egos, iTaste 3.0's a bunch of coils, all rebuild supplies, etc. So I'm good :) oh forgot flavors, stocked up on them too and Nic

I have enough gingerbread flavor to last the rest of my life!

6 liters of 100mg nic in the freezer
10 rda's of various types
5 mechs dual and single battery
5 regulated mods
Half a liter of cap vanilla custard v1

And I plan on making a stop by the local vape distributor to put at least 2 more mechs, 2 rda's, and at least 1 more high wattage box mod into my inventory. Also plan on 2 more liters of 100mg. I also want another good rta but I haven't figured that out. More want than need since I am a dripper.

In all honesty I am hoping for some sanity to descend upon all this nonsense. But I am not counting on that. After all, our 2 candidates are Trump and Clinton.

The only advice I have is to get a couple authentic rda's. There are some great cheap options under 50.

ProVape

^^^ ask anything you want over there ... ProVape the company, is the Industry leader in customer service ... their ProVari customers are also some of the most helpful anywhere.

- Do you have a backup generator for the freezer where the nic is stashed?
No. It's not meat. It won't spoil if it reverts back to room temperature for a while.

- Have you bought vg,pg or nic in 55 gal. drums?
No, I bought almost all my nic in 120ml freezer-ready glass bottles. A liter every couple of months for the last 2-1/2 years cost less than 1/4 what I was previously spending on smoking. I have enough to last me 40 years.

I bought PG and VG in gallon jugs and rebottled most of it into 32-oz glass bottles. I have enough to last me 15 years.

How many unopened mods and miles of wire do you have?
I have no unopened mods. It makes no sense not to inspect & test mods when you receive them.

I might have 1/4 mile of wire. I don't go through wire very fast.

The only thing I'm actually going to NEED to buy within the next 15 years are some fresh batteries.
