i never understood why it was called a *personal* vaporizer, and not just a vaporizer. its almost like they needed another word, just so they could abbreviate it with two letters (hence PV). because after all, the word "personal" is assumed. i highly doubt anybody thought it was a community vaporizer. like a big fountain or something that everyone went up and ripped halls off of.

Over the edge...
I posted this in another thread but I'm happy to paraphrase...Please do not call your PV an electronic cigarette. My nicotine inhaler does not contain any cigarettes. It contains 100% vegetable glycerine, nicotine and flavorings. It is NOT an electronic cigarette. I don't toot or puff. I inhale and exhale. I vape.

If I'm asking if I can vape @ a restaurant etc... I call it a 'nicotine inhaler'. I find that people hear only the word 'cigarette' if I call it an electronic cigarette. You'd be amazed at how many places are accepting of me using a nicotine inhaler....

That makes sense. I'm going to keep that one in my back pocket (figuratively, of course - pretty sure a PV in the back pocket is a bad idea).
