Ok...I have an Ehpro KFL+ V2 and love it so much I got a second. After building and filling the new one I noticed the air flow was totally different and way more tight than the first. Checked side hole, and even drilled out center post to 1/16". Seemed great, but the issue is once I start vaping, it tightens up again. Hard to explain, but almost like something keeps getting stuck and it gets harder to suck. I figured it was liquid getting in there, but when I blow it out or stick try to clear it there is nothing in there. I am BAFFLED!!!! Has anyone had this issue or have any idea what could be causing it? Coil is about 2mm off deck, and cotton is not really near the airflow hole. Not my build, because the other one has about 50+ builds I have done with no issues. Please HELP!

There is probably debris stuck in the center assembly take the entire center screw/pin out and then start flushing things out with water and air

On my Ehpro kayfun I had the same problem.
What I found was the center positive screw(hollow) had a small piece of plastic inside the hollow center airway. It came from the "cross" hole having a burr from when it was drilled and when the screw is inserted through the bottom insulator it cuts a small shaving of plastic off which goes inside the hollow screw. I smoothed out the burr with some fine sandpaper to keep it from happening again.

There is debris stuck in it. I've had that before. A small shiver of metal was stuck in one of mine I took a piece of kanthal and ran it up through the hole with the tip bent slightly and pulled out a piece. Worked fine after that. Horrible air flow before.
I just thoroughly cleaned it, even shined a light in each hole and took a pin to verify they were clear. Why would it only happen when I vape if it was debris? This is driving me crazy!

Sounds frustrating I would probably just retire it and start using my other RBAs... I ended up with tons lol

Need to take a break...starting to get major nic sick from all this testing! Ha! It is almost a different drag and sound every drag I take. That is why I thought it was a flap of debris at first that was being sucked around to different places. There is no plastic prices along the air channel that I could have sliced a flap or something is there?

So I cleaned again, messed with the afc screw a little, still same. But then I took a huge powerful drag, tons of bubbles, and now working pretty good. It may have had a pressure issue, but one things for sure, EVERY Ehpro kl+ is machined different!!! My first one has a smaller center post hole (slightly less than 1/16) than the 2nd one, but has a smoother, more free draw. Makes no sense! Guess I got real lucky with my first!!

Sounds like pressure lock. Oversized coils and/or overstuffed wicks can cause that same sort of pressure lock in these tanks. For example, yesterday I put a 7-wrap of 24g with an ID of ~1/8" and stuffed with Rayon into my R91. Completely ruined its usually smooth and wide open draw. Took the ID down to ~3/32" and now it's back to butter.
