Using a 24 gauge parallel coil right now, but I keep ending up back on a dual dragon coils. They are great when you wick them just right.

That's something I been meaning to try, but I'm all out of 24 and 26 gauge wire, stuck with over 90 ft of 28 gauge that's just been sitting. Maybe I can try 4-6 wraps and do quad nano dragon coils?

I have tried many different coil builds ranging from .8 down to .2....I think my "go-to" coil would have to be dual 26ga. micros for a total of about .4-.5 Ohms.....seems to give me the best flavor and vapor production....although I am greatly enjoying my parallel coil setups right now!!

ive been rocking 24 g macro coils for a while. wrapped around 1/8' drill bit. 7 wrap dual coil. Ohms out to about 0.35 ohm.

Crazy flavor and vapor. I have not touched my 26g or 28g for a while.

How do you do your wicks? This is the build I am wanting to experiment with. How often do you have to redrip?

Here it is in my Tobh atty:

With 1/8 diameter coils, you can pack a ton of cotton in. With my tobh since it has pretty deep juice wells I can pack alot of liquid in there. I probably have to redrip every 5-6 hits, considering i take huge lung pulls like 6 or 7 second pulls.

There is one bad thing about this setup though I have noticed. Because 24g there is so much thermal mass. It takes forever to cool off. So lets say your chain vaping a few hits, set your mod down. The coils will continue to vaporize juice while its cooling down even though your not using it. Sometimes after I chain vape, i set my mod down and ill wait about 1 minute. If i blow some air from my mouth into the direction of my atty i can see vapor come out.

So because of that, I have to redrip more often as my juice is still being vaporized for a minute or two without me even vaping lol. I dont know if anyone else has experienced this phenomena with 24g, but I choose to stick to 24g and these macro coils because I get the thickest vape clouds I have ever experienced.

I have a stillare atty built with 26 g, and the vape is great. But no where near as thick of vapor as my tobh with 24g.

edit: 1 minute might be a slight exaggeration. I just chain hit my tobh about 6 times. Left it alone. Blew at it @ 15 seconds. There was still vapor coming out. Blew at it again @ 30 seconds. There was very little . Did it again @ 40 seconds there was none. Also, its def not residual vapor from when I hit it, I blew it all out prior to testing.

So, yeah its basically cooking juice for 30 seconds at least without firing.

I'm running dual parallel coils in my tobh right now. It's my favorite so far. I was limited by my mvp. So once I got my first mech, I've just been experimenting with different builds. I'll be honest, there'll be something new for me by tomorrow.
I'm using dual parallels too. The flavor and performance are hard to beat.
