I don't know why but today has been one of those days, every time I turn around I was thinking about buying a pack of smokes for just one. So I got home and loaded up the Reo with some 12mg PBC instead of my normal 6mg The Virus it's helping a lot. And while it was a little early for a drink I chugged a beer so I wouldn't leave the house, I just have a feeling if I passed one more convenience/tobacco store I would have broke. Must have something to do with the weather changing or something, but it's been horrible.

I know it's kind of dumb to slam a beer to avoid smoking but I am not going back to those things. I am at a point where it's whatever it takes to stay away thank goodness I am back at home to vent about it on the forums a little.

Hang in there, friend and keep moving forward! You're doing great! Remember, one day at a time. The way you complete a journey is by focusing on each step, not the journey's end.

Just keep looking at that lovely banner ...every day it gives you a pat on the back! - I still love mine! :)

Don't know if you'd feel the same as I did - only you know what your resolve is like - but the day I had my last cigarette I had 200 unopened in a drawer not 4 feet away, and my two packs (plain and menthol) set just on the shelf under the monitor ...and you know what: they're still there!
I knew they were there, knew I'd never have to tear my hair out because I had none - and because of that, I haven't even opened a pack nor touched them since.

We're all different though, and some people do better for having none around. I'm a wuss, so the safety net made me brave.

I had to get rid of mine, I have an addictive personality by nature and I wouldn't stop smoking them unless they were gone. I forget who said it I think it was Clark, I have to burn bridges to make sure I never go back, that's me to a tee.

Great - glad you could do that :2cool:
Mine aren't there as a safety net any more, but a reminder of how darn stupid (and stinky) I was for nearly 50 years!

In fact, a superstitious nit in my brain is now thinking if I bin them, I may start getting itchy for them, so they can stay put.

My burned bridges were cleaning the house, walls included - no way was I going to mess all that up again!

It's finally hitting me what was wrong, I needed to rewick and dry burn. I wasn't getting that lung filling feeling and it was making me want to smoke, which makes sense last time I did that was Monday when I got my Ko Gen Doh. Now I am cloud chucking that awesome Virus flavor and couldn't be happier, I really need another Reo now. And to clean my mods more. :p

When I quit I had 5 unopened cartons in the cupboard and an open, half-smoked pack in my desk drawer. They stayed there untouched for several months until I finally tossed the pack and gave away the cartons to a neighbor. It accomplished two purposes for me - it was a safety net, and also a reminder of my strength that I could leave a pack of cigarettes and a lighter within arm's reach and not smoke. After 25 years of smoking a pack and a half a day, it felt great to be able to do that, it was a feeling of freedom!

My girlfriend still smokes roll you owns. In fact I roll them for her so I'm always around tobacco and lit cigarettes but luckily it does not bother me a bit. It does not tempt me to smoke. In fact it just makes me feel so much better knowing I don't have that nasty habit anymore. I think I have made it cause I've been tested hard. And I'm passing with flying colors.

I've been toying with the idea of blending it with the Switch.

I mixed some switch with a little CB & a splash of Frenilla! Sometimes the "piney" is to strong. It still comes through mixed w/ the above 2 but, not super strong & doesn't turn it into a "creamy" jooose for when I need something else. I love it & actually vaping away on it right now, I love DIY NT lol:) :)
