Hey all! I have been vaping for a month after a pack a day of smoking and going strong! I have a small problem though, I am going on a trip in the woods with no electricity (im assuming) to charge my vision spinner 1300mah batteries. I know they wont last the full 4 days, are there any battery pack or portable charging packs for this battery? I have seen some that hold a charge from the wall but I'm not sure even with that if it will last the trip.

Any information would be greatly appreciated thank you!

This is something I've been concerned about, too. I was also a pack/day smoker and I DO NOT want to have to take cigarettes with me for the weekend.

Got a powergen from amazon. 8600 mah

This or get any battery that's made to charge your phone from. I think duracell and energizer make them now too. I have one for my phone at work. Our trucks don't have enough cigarette lighters.

Thanks all for the info! I don't know much about batteries what would be a suitable one for a vision spinner 1300mah? So you can use for example the power gen to charge these batteries even though they say they are for iphones and cell phones?

Yes. As long as it has a usb port they would be perfect. You would charge a 500 dollar phone on it so why not a 25 dollar battery

I just purchased one of these for quick on the road charges to eGo type e-cigs and small cameras/phones: JIB. I also got one of these that holds a lot more power for camping trips. It will recharge my Vamo or eVic for approximately 9 times before it needs recharging itself. YMMV of course but there are many other options available.

Do a search on eBay or on Fasttech.com for battery bank. Multiply the mah of your battery by the number of times you think you need to recharge while you're on your camping trip and go for the next biggest unit. Since you have a 1300 mah battery and you will be gone for 4 days if you normally recharge every other day then I would get a unit at least 3000 mah (1300 x 2 = 2600) so you know you have plenty of power.

What's the setup for charging the vamo batteries? I use 18350s and 18650s in mine, and charge them on a Trustfire charger. Do you use some sort of different adapter? The USB ones were easy for me to figure out, but I'm confused about how you'd charge a replaceable battery. This would be convenient for me though, so I'd like to know!

test those powerbanks, or anything that runs off of AA batteries before you leave home too. i got one of those cheap phone chargers that runs off AA's, and it charged the phone for about 30 seconds before getting extremely hot and started melting. not trying to argue or talk anyone out of anything that has been recommended, but remember that this charger will be your only way to vape when your batteries run out. make sure it works, and you know how to use it before you leave home.

Spazmelda I put the Vamo battery in the eVic to charge with the usb. Sorry, I should have made that a bit clearer in my description.

If you are camping near your automobile then you could use a intellicharger with the car adapter to charge your 18650, 18350 or any battery it will take.

Ah, I see. Oh well. I have quite a few batteries, so I can usually take enough to get me through oh... 7 days. Having a backup emergency way to charge would be awesome though. There's probably some way to hook up the trustfire to the powergen, I'm just not electrically savvy enough to figure it out. Maybe a USB 18650 charger? Anyway, my husband's car actually has prong outlets, so charging in the car wouldn't be a problem.

Actually, upon further thought, this doesn't make much sense. I think the powergen is actually 2 18650 batteries (we dropped it one day and the case popped off). So, taking 18650 batteries to charge other 18650 batteries doesn't really make much sense. Lol. Might as well just take extra batteries.

Sorry OP, this is off your original topic.

I have used an 9,800mAh External Notebook Battery with 5v USB out.

9800mah.jpg

Worked Great to Charge USB Chargeable Batteries as well as a Cell Phone and a GPS.

For a VVPV that takes 18350, 18490, 18650, etc I would just take Extra Batteries in Plastic Battery Cases.
