Can Adapters die?

My v2 has been rock and roll since the day I received it. I never had major problem.. only a misfire here and there when I use my index finger to push the button. I did however drop v2 pretty bad a couple days ago. I 5'10 and I dropped from head height onto kinda hard carpet and I'm pretty sure it landed atty side with the atty still screwed in. The screw on the atty got a little bent and stuff, but it was still working good other than the atty wobbling a little it.

Today I noticed a major drop in performance and I switched to a new atomizer to see if my bent atty was going bad. Thats not the case because the new atomizer isn't working well either on v2, but the bent atomizer works fine on my other device.

Should I just go and buy another adapter?

i believe its the adapter. If i push down on the atomizer with my mouth while I vape, it hits normally. When I dont, is sucks. I guess the post got pushed down.

submit a ticket with puresmoker.

they can fix it or maybe give you directions to fix it yourself if you don't want to send it in to ps.

I have always been told "if it's broke you can't break it any more".

With that said, my understanding is that the adapter is pressed in.

Your atty is probably not making good contact with the adapter.
Take the adapter off the V2 turn it upside down and with a punch try getting the center post to protrude a bit more then it is now.

That will allow better contact with the atty.

The impact of the fall may have set it off just enough not to perform as intended.

i am being punished enough as it is okay?? I ordered another adapter and I am thinking it wont get here till Saturday.. possibly Monday.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW HARSH OF A PUNISHMENT THAT IS?

on a more serious note.. do i start smacking on the post at the bottom of the adapter? Like the circle? Is it all one piece thats slides up and down? I dont want to break it because it will still fire sometimes.. I need it to last until my new adapter comes in.

Just give it a tap and see if it helps.

Center punch and a tap with a hammer and see if it works.

i started hitting with a key and it worked!
if i knew it was that easy i woulda got the atomz adapter because im curious as hell about cartomizers... except my t tips would be a waste

sometimes it means you are good, if the problem repeats itself, then you probably have a loose adapter and will need to send it in.

nah its loose I gotta adjust it after like 5 hits or so. I still want to try v2 with cartos... is it really that good? Better than with 510?

Well you put another one on order so you should be good.

I just started using carto's, not everyday but occasionally. Pretty nice on the V2.



No more dropping it from 6' and you should be Golden
