The Macon City Council recently approved a smoking ban 9-6. It includes electronic cigarettes. Thankfully, mayor vetoed the bill on Thursday, and mentioned that it was too expansive.
Unfortunately, it looks like City Council will try to override the veto. From the looks of it, all they need is 1. It's critically important that a Georgia-area vaper makes it out to this meeting and speaks out against the inclusion of e-cigarettes in the bill.
The meeting is being held this Tuesday night at 6 PM at Macon City Hall, which is at 700 Poplar Street in Macon. You'd have to arrive a half hour early to register to speak.
