I would recommend the vmod 2.0 which i will be posting a video review of on my youtube channel is probably the newt week.. the hybrid attys are okay that they sell but it works with any atty not.

I am recommending this one to my dad as his "upgrade." I prefer cartos because they seem to be less fussy. I was watching a youtube review and noticed that the mod has to be turned upside down to feed juice into the carto/atomizer. I have a REO and I'm confused about the turning upside down part to fill the carto. That sounds like it would flood the carto?

Let me put in a good word for the Luicy Juicy 5V regulated bottom feeder from MaximumVapors. It's a 3AA box mod powered by two 3.7V 14500s with a 5-volt regulated buck board. Uses a sealed feed system (with no needle through the 510 connector) with a "bladder" that holds 5ml of juice (rather than the standard 3ml, 6ml, or 10ml standard plastic juice bottles that are used in most feeders). The bladder is filled with juice via syringe, which might be a negative for some people, but is actually both quick and simple. The feed system works extremely well, with no internal leaks.

"Squonking" through the open hole in the back cover to refill the atomizer requires only a one-second squeeze with the slightest pressure on the very flexible bladder (done with the LJ tipped a little past horizontal, since it's gravity-fed). That description doesn't do justice to how easy and effective the feed system is. I also own two wooden Phids and a Missy Wetbox, so I have experience with bottom-feeders and can attest that this feed system is well thought out and works beautifully.

Voltage is regulated to 5 volts and is very stable, with only .1 volt drop under load. I use my Luicy Juicy with a either 3.0 ohm HH357 atty or a 2.5 ohm IKV i06. Both of these custom (hybrid) atties produce great flavor, copious vapor, and the smoothest vape of any PV I own on the LJ. (and I own a lot of PVs, including 18 VV mods).

Cost is $45 plus $2.95 shipping, but MaximumVapors always has coupon codes offering 20-35% off. The current code is plainly listed right on the home page of the site. At 30% off, the Luicy Juicy 5V is only $34.45 shipped, which is a bargain, given its great performance. Two extra bladders can be added for $1 more. (MaximumVapors also sells a Luicy Juicy 3.7 volt version for $10 less that uses the same 3AA box and dual 14500s, but I don't own one of those. )

I understand that REOs are legendary, with a huge and loyal fan base, and that Old Goat feeders have almost filled the market niche for inexpensive plastic bottom feeders. Both Rob and Ron make great feeders, and I have no criticism to offer about either. But MaximumVapors' Luicy Juicy is an excellent alternative to the Old Goat feeders. I particularly like the fact that the LJ uses a standard horn button mounted ergonomically in the upper center of the box. Like so many bottom-fed mods, these are hand-assembled, but the build quality is fine.

Well worth considering.
