Sorry to burst your bubble but such batteries don't exist. If that (3000mAh and 40A) is written on the wrap then it's a lie. What brand are those? We should try and see if they were tested and what their true rating is, what you think they are is likely massively overstated.18650 3.7 3000MAH 40A

It is a 20a battery per Mooch's testing.Yes I always charge them with a dedicated effest charger, the batteries are AWT ( check photo ) , just need to fill them up cause they are almost dead.

soo I bought a new set of batteries the sony ones looked pretty good on the chart , vaping usually around 50-65 watts at most. Soo if i ever needed to charge the batteries in my car should i do them while they are in the mod or stick em in my effest external charger and hook it up in the power port ?As per Mooch's blog they already changed the wrapped battery at least one time, who knows what's inside now.
This may be directly related to your charging problem. Dreadful batteries go low quickly and you need to recharge them often. If you had good brand batteries that could already result in much longer vaping time and less need to charge a SMOK mod in your car at 100mph on thin ice...
What power are you vaping at?
Better option would be to carry a spare set of charged batteries in a plastic battery case, per @dom qp's suggestion. This is what nearly all experienced vapers do.soo I bought a new set of batteries the sony ones looked pretty good on the chart , vaping usually around 50-65 watts at most. If you never go over 85W you can go for high capacity batteries with 15A CDR (Sony VTC6 or Samsung 30Q), they'll last you a while longer (that's for a dual battery configuration in any mod).vaping usually around 50-65 watts at most
