Hey Sun- You'll have to drip with the supplied mouthpiece. You can order carts from elsewhere though :)

I'm sure this has been mentioned before but it would be REALLY nice if you guys would at least stock blank carts. I hate placing a big liquid or atty order with you and then having to place another order and pay shipping to someone else for 10 carts.

Since you're carrying the Atomz now, Steve has no excuses! ;)

You can still do the cart mod with the supplied mouthpieces though right? I never tried it but supplied mouthpieces are just carts without the polly filler though I think.

Edit: Sorry I forgot that was 510 specific. I shouldn't have assumed thats what you are using, but if you are I hope it helps.

Yeah but the 510 attys come with round tips. I MUCH prefer the flat ones with the Protege.

Its a 910 but it's working. Have to see how long though. I have a 510 but am waiting for the adapter

901, just fyi.

and as for PS selling carts...i thought it was pretty clear that they market the Prodigy and Protege as "drip devices" and don't recommend carts anyway?

at least that would seem the logic behind not carrying them.

I've never heard they recommend drip only for the Protege

3.7v. Lots of us love our 510s with carts on them. :p

Carts would be ok on the Protege if you like them. They'll act just like carts on any other 3.7v battery source. Carts on the Prodigy (5v) aren't recommended.

PS got away from carrying carts when they released the Prodigy. Probably a combination of not recommending them for use on the Prodigy and trying to minimize what they have to order from China.

If the 901 attys are from TW (don't know about all 901's) don't overtighten them or it'll pop the insulator out of the center pin and short out the unit.
That's one of the things that are blowing the switches everyones complaining about and sending back to PS. Really is a user error and or lack of knowing.. I did it twice on the 901's. Luckily I purchased some replacement tact switches.

Just thought I'd pass that along so you don't have to be without your Protege and start a rant thread ..

Great little machine if used and cared for properly.
