can i get addicted by 9mg nicotine?

some ppl tells me high nicotine can get you addicted, but when i first trying 6mg nicotine in freebase, my throat hurts, but then i tried 3mg nic, and its getting normal for me, then rn im upgrading to 6mg, and.. its just normal, maybe its because my throat needs adaptation.
And now i want to try 9mg nicotine (ofc on freebase)

Sounds like you’re doing it.

I’m on 6mg from 18mg and it’s taken me 10 years to get here after being a 30 year pack a day smoker.

So you aren't a former smoker? To answer your question nic addiction can be compared to caffeine. It's the chemical additives in burning tobacco that creates the worst of addictions. Just nic or caffeine is a very mild addiction.
