It is hard when you start to go with a pv that DOES NOT look like a cigarette. If I did this I would have saved tons of time and money, but I admit I fell into that trap and it is a trap. The real danger is that those cig looking pv's turn you back to analogs. Hindsight being golden, I wish had started with a Reo (mini or Grand) with Boge 2.0 cartos then worked into atties when I got more experiece. After 9 months of experimentation I now have all the hardware and juices that are my favorites down pat. Most important NO CIGS for 9 months and counting. Good Luck.

I fell into that same trap...also spent tons of money. I think one of the reasons I fell into the trap was it was that this particular PV was the only one I could understand. The cartomizers were prefilled and it only had 2 pieces. Plus they advertised one cartomizer was equal to a pack of analogs. When the actual vaping experience was not satisfying, I turned to this forum.

Where did you get the impression that an ego looks like that? That's sort of silly.

Here's a thought - Why not pick out a pv without making fun of the pv's that others use? You might get a more positive response that way. You don't want a bigger battery- you don't want a bigger battery. Leave it at that.

Now I'm hoping that you get a mini so I can point and laugh at the person that looks like they're vaping a coffee stir or a toy cig with 8 batteries in their pocket.

See how that works?

Someone is a little sensitive.......sorry, absolutely no offense was meant...the shape just reminds me of a magic marker is all.

Cheers,
Cosmic

If size is important and you want something in between a cig size and a fat bat like an ego ect I would suggest the 808 Elite from cigeasy. It sounds like it would be perfect for a light smoker and it has blue led that lights up to indicate how much charge is on the batteries. I don't have one but here is a review on them by DonDaBoomVape http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...lite-808-cigeasy-great-cigarillo-like-pv.html It has a 380 mah battery and a 2 ml carto which if you take two setups out with you they would last 8 hrs of heavy vaping without refilling or recharging. If you want something that will last longer I would suggest the Echo 650 or 1300 with 3ml carto. You can get a 650 kit for 39.95 at Cropduster901!, Home of the B-52. Some come with a blue led and some with red so you would have to ask Tony if he had any with blue.:2cool:

Although its low initial price may seem attractive, I would not recommend getting a Marks-A-Lot mod. Users report a strange, artificial flavor and claim vapor production is virtually nonexistent. Some have even stated the poor construction can leave black marks on the lips if the drip tip is left off. Since you only plan to vape when drinking, this could possibly be a plus. A beard, moustache, or, depending on the crowd, certain body parts scrawled on the face of anyone that passes out can be a powerful incentive for more responsible drinking, and is always good for a laugh :)

Don't know if it matters or not, but the Volt is an 808 battery.

No, it doesn't, same dinky little battery type. But if appearance is your number one concern, then get an M401 which is the same size as a cigarette. Make sure you stop back and let us know how well you think it performs.

Isn't the Echo essentially the same as the eGo or Riva?

I'm not the least bit sensitive. I'd just hate to have someone that has never vaped before read this post and think an ego looks like the picture you posted and order something else because of it.

An echo is a KR808. People seem to like them for the big battery and the big carto. (1350 mah-something like that) and they have auto or manual batteries. I think the echo carto holds about 4.5 ml of juice. The echo-e holds around 3.5. I don't have one but I have tried the echo-e cartos and they're pretty nice.

That was awesome!

In the same way, my original comparison was only meant to be slightly humorous to begin with, too.

Doesn't help to have people like Alac posting BS pictures and pretending they are relevant. He only posted once to the thread, and it was just to troll.

If that was a Troll attempt on my part, it was fail.
The picture was way over the top and should be seen as not serious by a casual observer.

Sure, I use minis (4081 and blu) it works for ME. I've been out with my blu and have had comments from people that thought my all black Blu was a marker. Its not an unheard of connection, even with the smaller batteries.
