I sent my first email to support@liberty-flights.com about this problem at 1:18pm EST on Wednesday and have not seen a response yet. Just sent another email as a response.

Quick version:
Both of the joyetech eGo 18650 mod switches I received in this order are DUDS. They "work", but the light on the button flickers or goes out intermittently, and so does the vapor production. It will come back on by itself somewhere between 1-3 seconds later (if you're still holding the button down), and may stay on and work fine for the duration of the hit, or may flicker or go out again. The button also sticks on one of these two.

This did not happen on the first 18650 switch I bought from LF.

It is not the batteries. They are new AW IMR 2000's, and I ONLY charge them on my new Pila IBC.

It is not the cartomizers. The same carto (literally the same one) worked fine on the first switch. Any other carto I've tried including SmokTech EMDCC's my wife is currently using without problem on her eGo batts do NOT work fine with either of the 2 18650 eGo mod switches from this order.

The problem is the switches.

I need LF to work with me to get me 2 good switches, actually TESTING your inventory until you find 2 good ones. I'm not willing to buy 2 more "random samples" and get 2 more duds, and do not consider my chances good since 2 out of 3 (67%) of the ones I've bought from you so far have had this problem.

The Joye 18650 eGo mod is the only vaping battery solution I have right now, so I need replacements before I can send these back.

You can PM me if you like, or just reply to my emails I've sent to your support address.

Thank you.

Very cool! You are most welcome amigo.

Duds/failures have been very low with these. I was surprised to hear your story. So now that you're up and running again, what do you think? would you recommend these over a couple regular ego batt's?

I've been using the indulgence myself. quite similar in form, but the tube is a bit longer and will allow for a wider variety of batteries. its also mechanical, and unregulated. I've got some 4.8v NiMH batteries/chargers on order, that should pair very well with the Indulgence.
