Can I replace the battery in my Ego-C ?

I have 2 dead bateries that just died on me. I ordered 1 new one and got it today and it arrived DOA! Totally ...... off now..
Is there a way to take these apart and replace it with another rechargeable type battery?

Well I already figured out what the problem was and even my 2 old batteries that I thought where dead are just fine. But for the future, I would still like to know if this is possible.

In a word, no. Ego C batteries are considered disposable.
