Hello and welcome to ECF! You can start out pretty good for $70-$100. If it were me, I would get an eGo kit from Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. or where ever has them the cheapest right now. Also bick up a third battery and a couple extra attomizers. Then all you have to do is spend the rest of your money (should still have a bit left) on juice from FreedomSmokeUSA, Viking Vapor E-liquid Supply or another place that does cheap sample size bottles. This is just my opinion and these are sites that I and many others use. Do some shopping around, check out the suppliers list here on the forum. Good luck and keep us posted on what you get and think about it.

This is pretty cool. Not a Joye product, but twice the batt life of the standard eGo: Mega Ego Kits : Arctic Vapor, Personal Vaporizers & Handmade E-liquids

@$65 not too bad. You might also want to get a couple eGo mega attys. They come w/ a free drip tip .lol http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-users-group/120460-ego-mega-cyl-atty-free-drip-tip.html

You can also go w/ an eGo USB batt for $20 from Liberty Flights. That and, again a couple mega attys and you are ready to go for around $50, $70 w/ two batts. I don't even use my other eGo batts anymore. Electronic Cigarette - Pass-throughs - Joye eGo

You could also go for a KR8 if you want something more cigarette like. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...7-vapor-leaf-kings-kr808d-1-sale-26-96-a.html or http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-starter-kit-blow-out-vaporlifestyle-com.html and that would be well under your $70 mark...around $30.

Funny...I started for exactly $70 after discount code. I picked up a VaporToker Fatty kit (Joye 510). They didn't have prefilled carts at the time and subbed a 10ml bottle of ejuice. A great deal considering.

***If you're a pretty heavy smoker, you might want to get the fat fatty atomizer and extra ejuice at the same time. ***

You can definitely get started for under $100. But be careful these gadgets are addicting.
I just compare it to what I would spend on actual cigs and it softens the blow:)

This is so true. I've more than doubled the original investment just in "upgrades" and extras.

Not to mention once you get squared away with your hardware, then the savings should really show.
Cigs in lovely NJ are about $7.50/pack so it shouldn't take long for me to be on the winning side of things.

I still spend about the same I was spending on cigs every week. But I love getting my weekly package. Always something good to play w/. lol

Isn't that the truth. I was supposed to get my last initial package today. Then I came on here yesterday and listened to you tell me about mega attys and now there's another package on the way:)
The hardest part I've found is that I can't go onto a site and order that one thing I wanted. I start to browse and always seem to come up with other items that I 'need':)

Yup. I made a video series for getting *everything* (kit, spare parts, and juice) for $80 or less. If you're willing to go up to $100, you can get a DIY juice kit for $30-40 that is a good several months worth of juice.

Your vids helped me a TON when I was trying to figure out what to order. And I couldn't be happier that I decided to DIY(M?)
My kit came with 4 juices and they all sucked pretty bad. The very first batch I made was fantastic.

Well, compared to the cost of a pack of analogs...I'd say any newbie won't be broke for long. I used to smoke a carton a week, so my savings from the first week after quitting more than paid for the initial investment. Week 2's savings bought more ejuice and upgrades. Week 3? New 360 games for my boys.

Great, I replaced a smoking habit with shopping!

Only 8 left at liberty flights. I broke down and bought the ego last night after having three fully charged 510 Mega last me about 7 hours (yes, I do vape that much) while out and about. It's a killer deal.

You could easily get started for under $100 pez.

Wow, you can make 510s last that long? I can drain a standard 510 in a half hour. When I tried to reduce my nic level, I was draining an eGo batt every two hours. lol

I spent $138 total and have enough juice to last me 8 months!! I bought a $50 Joye 510 because I love the slimmer, elegant look. I spent $28 on 125 ml of 60 mg Nic juice and $14 on 500 ml of VG to cut it with. Then I spent $30 on five flavoringss to try. Added some lil 6 ml bottles, some larger ones and some pipettes. So vaping will cost be 50 cents a day for the next 250 days:)

P.S. I know every couple months I'll need to buy new attys and batteries, but $20 every couple months won't be bad:) Not compared to what smoking analogs cost!
