OK so been a rough few days. Lost o rings when cleaning [yes I will now clean in a bowl] and my centerpiece to my mini 3 seriously disappeared, I put everything where I ALWAYS do & gone. Soooooo, gonna order an Aerotank & Aerotank Mini. They take different coils but the Aerotank will fit my mini 3. So, can I take the base of my mini 3, [not sure which tube] & the center piece of my mini 2? Then I obviously don't have to buy 3 different kinds of coils. Is this possible? Sure it fits, just not sure which tube & will it work?
Hopefully I get feedback as I'm down to a not so good tank & miss my great tasting juice!!
Ty everyone

What you need is to find someone who has the same toppers you mention. Short of that, it's all guesswork. I don't, as I've "standardized" my clearos to all use either PT or T3S heads.

When you get your new hardware, just try swapping out to see - then let us all know, so if it comes up again... :)

It's been a while since I compared them, but...
The bases, with the ego threads and the airholes, are the same for mini PT2 and 3 (except for colour).
The next piece up (let's call it the bottom) is different, because of the different heads, but can be swapped over.
Pretty sure the centre tube is the same, or at least works with either.
The glass is the same.
Everything else is effectively the same and can be swapped around however you like.

So you could take the tube from the 2 and make the 3 whole again, or you could take the bottom from the 3 and make the 2 take the 3's heads. Either way you get a complete tank that takes the dual coil heads :)

Not completely sure what you are asking, but if I understand it correctly you want to swap pieces from a PT2 and a PT3 and make one functioning tank? Only one way to find out, try it!! I have taken pieces from the ProTank2 and used it on an Aero tank (based on tank); mixed them up one day while cleaning everything. It worked but I realized my mistake and corrected....

If you asking if the base from the PT2mini will fit on the regular ProTank Aero, I believe the answer is no. They are different sizes and have different threads.

The only thing that i can offer is the fact that the aerotank and protank mini3 use the dual kanger coils and the protank mini 2 uses the single coils. You can't use the dual coils in the mini 2 but you can use single coils in all of them. The glass in the mini 2 and 3 are the same, not sure about the aerotank.

I wanna take the base of mini 3 cuz it takes the new coils with either tube, whether it's 2 or 3 & then the centerpiece from mini 2. I don't have the centerpiece to the mini 3. Only reason I asked is the threads on the mini 2 is smaller I believe. I'm waiting on o rings so need to wait for them to see if it Vapes good.

I think it is really only 2 sizes of coils involved but I'm not sure.

I have protanks, miniprotanks, and evods and I run my protanks on miniprotank bases.

The tanks that take dual coils have enough space to fit the single coils, but you just have to fill the space with silicone caps to seal the airway I guess; I'm sure you'll find some degree of interoperability between the tanks.
