i think they're both about the same in terms of vape/flavor, after all, iirc they use practically the same coils..the only thing the Aero has going for is it has an adjustable airflow valve. IMO the protank 3 mini is more airy, for my preference i had to cover up one of the holes.also, the protank mouth peice doesn't fit as solid and can wiggle a bit. not a big deal i guess, also price is a pretty big factor.. $7~ vs $20+ (i've seen some sites selling the aerotank for $28~ which is insane when you compare the difference between the two clearos)

i think a good option is if you already have a protank 3 mini just buy the air control valve which is around $5-6 and you'll basically have converted your protank 3 mini into an aerotank.

AeroTank hands down. I have had both and when I got the AeroTank I rarely even touched the Protank mini.

The exact same coil + stainless steel + air flow control + stainless tank option included = no brainer.
i think it's logical if you already own the protank mini and then upgraded to the Aero i see no reason to use the protank unless it's just to test liquid flavors, however, i think the real question the OP has, is the Aero tank worth the nearly triple price tag compared to the protank if you have neither tanks. to me the answer is no.. they use the same coils, etc. with the exception of the air valve (which again can be purchased separately and used on a protank.

IMO, kanger should of only included one tank with the clearo to keep the cost of the unit low. i'm sure the stainless tank increases the cost of the unit by $5-6. personally i would rather have just the glass as it's just easier to see your liquid, plus it just look cooler.. ;)

well considering the aero is just a PT3 with and adjustable bottom. I would get what is cheaper the aero or a pt3 and and aero base.

If it was only that it might be worth considering, but it is clearly not.

Stainless steel instead of chrome plated brass.

Airflow control.

Extra stainless tank included

Better drip tip.

And comes with extra coils.

To the other guy, not three times the price, barely twice.

I paid 18 for my first one and won one on an auction for 11. I posted a link at 17 bucks shipped.

What are you going to use it on? If you can wait a few weeks you could order the Aerotank Mini "style" 1:1 clone without the stainless tank from Fasttech for under $10.

If it is going on something bigger than an ego or Spinner 2 you could go for the Mega style kit for under $17. I have used the Mega on the Spinner 2 and it looks like a sceptre but it works.

I have the authentic and clones of both of these and all of them work great and are hard to tell them apart.

Heh, I used the VS 2 with the Mega and really liked it. Probably would still be using it if it had more battery life. One thing I found to be awesome was that carrying it around you could let it slide through you fingers and hang from the tank between the fingers. Way more comfortable than having to clutch it.

I have an authentic Mega but I also bought two of these, from this guy, and they are fantastic! 14.99 and a good seller.

Oops, I guess he sold out.

Its going on the istick so I wanted to keep a small profile. I generally like the smaller stuff.

Ok then, I would suggest the authentic Mini Protank 3 from Focalecig, shipped from US for $8.99.

You may or may not need the airflow controller. Some like an airy draw, some don't.

Main difference is the Aerotank comes with the airflow 2.0 base, extra coil pack, stainless tank (in addition to the clear one), and different stainless drip tip.

Edit: Yeah Davey59 got it first.

Ok that's the kind of thing I was wondering, basically looks the same aside from base but made with different metals.
