OK, I dont want to start a debate. I dont want to get into suppliers or such. I just want to know if this is a safe battery to use with the GLV. My only concern is the 1800mAh. They are protected. They are lithium ion, rechargeable, and 123a.

GTL LR123A 3.6V 1800mAh Li-ion Rechargeable Batteries-Color assorted (2-Battery Pack) free shipping at priceangels.com also sale on digital electronics,Home Electronics Gadgets, cheap digital electronics, cool digital electronics, best price digital ele

Thanks!

I wouldn't; you get what you pay for and at that price, you can't be getting much.

More importantly (to me, anyway) the product description doesn't say anything about them being protected.

- Lithium Ion LR123A cylindrical rechargeable batteries
- Typical Capacity: 1800mAh
- Lighting or other device needing 3.6V power
- 2-piece set

It's a (relatively) free country so you can buy whatever you'd like but since you asked for opinions, mine is that based on the available information, I would not consider them safe and wouldn't use them, even in a flashlight.

Maybe it's just me but I'm a little skeptical about almost everything I looked at on that site. The batteries do "look" like protected batteries but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are. A month or two ago there were some counterfeit batteries floating around that apparently looked like the real thing. Can't recall if they were TrustFires or UltraFires but reputable US suppliers stopped selling them and I believe were accepting returns.

I'd be leery but like I said, maybe it's just me.

Not sure why you're only getting 2 hours out of your UltraFires and AWs; even with super heavy vaping I can usually get at least 4 hours, closer to 6.

Ok, for $5 I ordered them off a vendor who has 1000+ feedback, and 99.6% good transactions, and the listing specified it IS protected. It is also listed as a true 123A and not 16340. I'll report when I TRY to use them what the result is.

Looking forward to your review, pamdane. I hope they're good :)
