Adjusting the default expiry time really doesn't help in my opinion. In fact I think it makes things worse. It just messes up the boards for research purposes.

Plus, even if I set it to two days I still have 595 posts in "my posts". *shrugs* VB has a lot of faults and limitations, but It is what we have.
