Can my sub ohm tanks handle high vg or max vg?

I'm currently using an Aspire Atlantis Mega, a Kanger Subtank Mini, and an Innokin iSub G.

I ordered some 30/70 juice, and I'm wondering if all of my tanks can handle it? I have a feeling that the iSub G won't be able to handle it, because the cotton in the coils is wound so tight, but I usually poke a couple small holes in the iSub G coils with a needle before using so that may help.

What do you guys think? Is there any definitive list out there for which sub ohm tanks can handle higher vg juice?

Sub ohm tanks like the Orchid and Billow can..I have both with no problems and vape 70VG.

I use 90% vg liquid in my isub no problem. I also poke little holes in the wick with a thumb tack. I can vape it at 18w without getting a bad hit. Over 20 and i do. The same goes for my subtank mini. You might just need to lower the power so the wicks can keep up. So 70% vg will be no problem.

From what ive seen the wicking holes on atomizers play the biggest role. Now using the same 90% vg juice, i can only run about 18w on the isub and subtank mini. With my arctic tank i can blast it up to 40w no problem. There is a direct relationship between wicking density, wick holes, juice viscosity, and wattage applied. You will be perfectly fine.

I filled the e-Liquid slots in my Kanger Subtank RBA to make them about 50% Wider and about 50% Deeper. It can Now handle even 100% VG e-Liquids.

If you don't want to Mod your Subtank RBA Section, you could Always add a Drop or Two of Water to your High VG e-Liquid.

My subtank mini handled 70% vg.
The atlantis coils I've seen look to have large wicking holes but lovemytank seems to not get vg through.
The isub G I haven't looked at much.

Possibly the ones with more cotton in their coils may take longer for VG to soak in so may have to slow down your vaping.

I can't get the Silo Beast with .5 Atlantis V2 or the stock Beast coils to wick 70vg juice at all without dry hits at 30 watts unless I wait a few minutes after 1 hit. Like LoveMyTank said above, it's useless.
I will try .3 ohm coils and see before I give up on it. What kind of hepls but is a PITA, I have to loosen up the top fill cap the retighten it to let the bubbles that always get trapped under the hood where the coil sits and to force juice in the coil enough to not get a dry hit for at least 2 hits.

Anyway, glad to see success for someone else using 70vg and higher juice in these sub ohm tanks.

I vape high VG on my Atlantis, with a .5 coil i run 35 watts, and I'm vaping a .25 at 50W.... No dry hits or anything yet, although i go through a ton of juice and the coils go bad by getting all gunked up a lot quicker. I also dont think im getting very good flavor.... I'm excited cause im waiting on my magma, and mutation x to get shipped. Im getting into RDA and want to know how much flavor ive been missing out on.

I wonder why I'm getting the opposite. I can't do 35w to save my life the first hit feels like a dry hit is coming on. This was my first sub ohm tank. I always used RDAs and RTAs every once and a while. Maybe I take to big of hits and want it back to back when I'm vaping.

Nivek you can't beat a dripper for flavor as long as you got a mod that can take low resistance builds and post holes can take a 24 guage build make it a dual parallel 3mm around .2 ohms the flavor will knock your socks off. Make sure you have a good ohm reader or multi meter that you can check for shorts, don't cover the deck in cotton just enough to curl against the deck floor. You think you can go through juice with a sub ohm tank, you have no idea.

Hope the best for what your looking for.

I've been staying at around 20-25w on my tanks and it seems to be going ok (on the Atlantis Mega and Kanger Subtank Mini) but on the iSub G I got dry hits, so I turned the wattage down to around 18 and it seems to be completely fine now.

The mega seemed to be getting pretty hot though, don't think it usually does that, as far as I can remember. Not sure if it's related to the juice. May have to turn the wattage down on that one too. Subtank is working like a dream though, at least so far. :)

Still happy with this, seems to be going ok. In the future once I'm finished with my 30/70 juices, I won't use it anymore, that's all. I don't notice a ton of difference between that and 50/50 anyway aside from the difference in vapor production.

Huh that strange, I never had a problem, i do make sure that i prime the coil very well before i fire. When i install a coil i drop juice on all the little cotten holes on the coil and i put a few drops on the indisde of the coil as well.... Also too ive recently switched to using Vair-T coils because they were cheaper and so far i like them better then the aspire ones. The have an adjustable juice control and i guess they use nickel qire as well.VapeOnly vAir-T Ni200 Atlantis Coils

I can't wait for my RDAs, i order a magma clone and a mutation X clone off fast tech. I did hear they go through juice, so once i get the hang of building them next step for me it DIY juice.
