I'm not all that impressed. What good are the Provari guts without the LED to read the menu. You can build better for less.

Like this, with an Evolv dna-12 in it.

    what is that?

i'm on a hunt for a stealthy bottom feeder that has all the bells and whistles of a provari/darwin/ultimo with a (possibly magnifying) window for the lcd/oled screen. i would get either one, but i'm always on the go and i hate using tanks after buying 4 tanks only to find out i dislike cartos, and i can't drip and go all the times. i've had a lot of near accidents on the road trying to drip... so obvious solution to my problem was a vmod. i'd pay someone to make me something like that...

@Torqueguy, thanks for the info. i can't seem to find the thread again but you wouldn't know if he's going to sell these with customizations available for it is he?

Fun to be innovative and try something different! That being said, I believe the Provari, in its original state provides more features, and most certainly a more comprehensive and functional unit!

But you can also get a Nivel chip from Click-Bang for 67 bucks. That's a lot less than a provari, and it goes far beyond what a provari can do.

There are now a lot of choices of how to build a great mod without ripping the guts out of a great mod..
