Hi Sandy. Sorry to hear of your woes.

Get a tissue and place it below the carto. Blow into it until all the juice that's in the center cavity is out. Take a few draws to make sure it's clear and airy. Wipe down the end as well as your battery's terminals really well, even use alcohol if you have it handy. The flickering of the light on your battery usually means that the "negative" terminal has connectivity (the threaded parts of the battery/carto) but the "positive" terminal doesn't (the center posts). The juice may have leaked into the connector area and caused this to happen.

Report back. All should be well.

If you overfill a carto you can blow into it to get some of the juice out. It's not usually a problem. what battery do you use? If it's a closed battery, excess juice shouldn't matter but if's an open battery (has a hole in the atty/carto connection, it can short it out. that's why dripping isn't recommended with the smaller 510 batts cause they're open.

Sandy has the kGo IIRC. Thank god. You are right on the money, auto batteries can be killed really easily with juice.

Iv never seen a boge fail but it sounds like thats what happened . Blinking battery usually means a short in the carto . I dont think its fixable and juice in the airtube wont cause it not to work . I would just use a new one .

also yes if its a auto battery the juice may have gotten inside and messed up the battery

Darn, sorry Sandy.

P.S. - For future ref, don't do the paperclip thingie, only blow. It's inevitable that juice will get in the center, so just blow out as needed. The paperclip could have nicked the coil which would kill it instantly. Also, if you have syringes you can have limited success saving the ~1ml of juice in there still, or blow out from the battery end into a condom. Just a thought.
