Can vapors tongue happen instantly?

I've only been vaping for just over a week. My new egrip been giving me lots of flavor. Just tried vaping and it taste burnt so figured the original coil was bad. Replaced it and its giving lots of vapor I can't taste anything. I tried vaping a different flavor in my ego t and can't taste that. Brushed my teeth mouth wash swig of pickle juice and that was refreshing but back to no taste. Can that set in that quickly? I was getting juicy hits all morning and it was just like instantly I have no sense of taste and barely smell. I'm confused. I just thought my coil was bad. Any help is appreciated.

That's normal. You might have not been drinking enough. Had it happen to me after the first week, so remedied that by drinking lots and lots of water. Now I always drink after I vape, vaping really dehydrates you.

when it happens i add some menthol to my mix, keeps my mouth from drying out also

I would say yes it can if you were chain vaping all morning and I will agree you should be drinking twice as much water as you did before, try soda water while your vaping .....

Peppermint tea with a lot of honey really helps after a burnt/dry hit. Also switch up your flavors at least every couple days.

I just drink lots of water you'll be fine, but I found out that if you drink beer the flavor of the vape comes out.

ohhh nooo the dreaded you are dehydrated syndrome.... you must consume 5.6 gallons of water for every 5 ml of vaping or you will end up looking like this....

Id really like to see someone post some real numbers on dehydration and vaping.... but since no one has and wont... its just a myth....

how much weight have you lost in the past week or so ?? 5 lbs? 10 lbs?... if not, then dehydration isnt an issue....

You MUST order yourself some 'Zombie Killer' by Fuzion Vapor. It gets rid of zombie tongue so well, and it's one of my all day vapes. It's meant to "cleanse the palate" and it totally works!

Yep, it did for the first time to me yesterday. So i came online to search out what causes it and read that if you vape too much of the same flavor ejuice, that can cause it also. Which saddens me because i found an ejuice that i absolutely LOVE and would be content vaping it and nothing else.

But then i read that you can reverse vapor tongue just as quickly sometimes by wakening up your tastebuds by drinking something with acid in it, such as juices etc. Even sniffing coffee grounds can help...which i did that too....but it didn't do much for my taste buds.

So i had some Apple Cidar Vinegar on hand, mixed 2 tablespoons in with a lil bit of water and drank it. About an hour later...BOOM, i had my taste back!

Sure hope this vapors tongue doesn't happen often because i was really tempted to have a smoke during those hours where i couldn't taste my ejuice!!

I only just discovered what vapor's tongue is first hand. Good to know drinking lots of water & vaping menthol can help. Unfortunately I'm not a huge menthol fan. I've been experiencing this for about a week myself, it's frustrating. How long can it last?

From all that I have read, yes. I have never experienced this but there are so many that have. Here is an article that describes what it is and some of the remedies.
