You ask for "your" top 5 e-cigs. I can name five models that are worthy of your consideration, but it is not an official ECF position. [I do think that most ECF members would agree with some of the entries on my list, but they might very well object to the omission of several other models.]

Green Smoke is not one of those five, not because it is a lousy e-cig, but because it is overpriced for what you get. The two-piece cartomizer concept (which Green Smoke's E9 model uses) is very good. Suppliers like LeCig ("D2") and NHaler ("Mini-Cig E9") sell the E9 model for a much more reasonable price.

However, the much more popular cartomizer model among ECF members is the 117 mm KR808D-1. It is sold by many suppliers and often under different brand names. Some of them (and the names under which the model is sold) are Vapor4Life (Vapor King), NHaler (KR808D-1), AltSmoke (KR808D), CigEasy (Easy), Cigtechs (KR808D), GoodProphets (VapoRite), LeCig (D1), Liberty Flights US (KR808D-1), LiteCigUSA (KR808D-1), Mist-Stix (Mist-Stix), PureSmoker (Ace), The House of Vapor (KR808D-1), VaporKings (KR808D-1), and VaporNine (Nebula).

So the Kr8 model is one. The others are three-component units (cartridge, atomizer, battery):

2. The even more popular, 112 mm Joye 510, e.g., from Cignot, LiteCigUSA, Rocky Mountain Vapor, NHaler, Liberty Flights US, Ecigsupply, The House of Vapor, and Awesome Vapor.

3. The tried and true DSE901 (about the same size as the Kr8), e.g., form Esmokeyshack, Good Prophets or Rocky Mountain Vapor ... or the virtually identical RN4075, e.g., from VaporKings and Puresmoker.

4. The much longer 155 mm penstyle category, the best know example of which is the DSE801, e.g., TheHouseofVapor, MyVaporStore, Ecigsupply, VaporKings, and Rocky Mountain Vapor ... or the virtually identical RN4072, e.g., from myPVshop and eCigaretteShop. OR, my favorite model: Joye 302, e.g., from is Vapor Station, LiteCigUSA, Ecigsupply, MyVaporStore, Electro-Nic-Stix, and DIETsmokes.

5. Something much shorter than the penstyle would be the super-mini category. The 102 mm RN4081 (just about the same size as a 100s cigarette) is quite popular (mainly because it has been mass marketed by Smoking Everwhere and njoy). Suppliers who carry it (at more reasonable prices) are Liberty Flights (US or UK), CigVapor.net, DietSMOKES, and AquaVapor ("Deuce II"). I've not used the RN4081 so I can't comment personally on it.

Those five are not "the best" (there is no one best for everyone), but they are popular and very good models, all of which can be had for around $40 for a starter kit.
