So, I bet I vaped in the most gnarly place where you shouldn't; can you top it?
I had Kidney cancer operation last week, and in the recovery room I used my V4L Shorty (with Menthol) to de-stress after the ordeal. No-one noticed, and it was great to have a vape after the drama to tell you the truth.
On a scientific note; you can see that vaping does not increase heart rate or blood presure as you can see by the monitor...actually those are some good numbers if you ask me!
Thanks V4L, I couldn't of done it without you--can you imagine trying to have a smoke after surgery theses days? The staff would have had a fit

How did you even wake up in recovery? I had a cancerous kidney removed and I can't even remember waking up in recovery LOL!! Unfortunately that was in '08 and we weren't vaping yet. So, yes, I was one of those pathetic fools pushing a iv tree out to the parking lot to smoke!!!
Had to spend my 50th b-day in the darn hospital:-x

Congrats on getting away with vaping!;)

I can not beat hospital stuff (thats hard), but today for our outings I managed:
HHGregg during our shopping time for our gift to each other, the parking lot (in our truck and the passenger of the car next to us looked at me funny) while he was in Gamestop (looking for my gift), Kmart while in the baby section picking up some Pullups for our toddler, again in the truck while passing a cop, in Sonic's parking lot/order line for our food and I think thats it. I have decided to become a tag vaper as well (its so addicting).

Good luck to EVERYBODY with your surgery's! 420...ya did er up better than what you originally thought didn't ya?! What a pain! Hope everybody heals real fast;)

Yeah.....I totally screwed it up. The plate is to bring a 3mm gap together. Plus I came so so close to tearing a bunch of ligamints too. It's life, I guess. If I have to stay overnight, I'm using the Hospitals wireless internet to keep everyone updated.......and to win some contests!!!! LOL ;)

I vaped all the way thru my Pre-Op on the 10th. I mean the whole time.

During Check-In.
In the O.R. Waiting Area.
While the nurse ran my I.V.
While they done the UltraSound to find the nerves for the nerve block.
And all the way to the O.R. door.

Handed it to the nurse and told her to give it to my wife.........

GOOD TIMES.

Skinny, you are my new hero!!! I hope you have a fast and easy recovery and are back on your feet soon. In fact I wish that for everyone on here. I know what it's like to go thru all that and not be able to smoke. I've had 13 surgeries from a motorcycle wreck and there was no way for me to get outside to smoke. I usually did alright until the day I knew I was going home. Then it got bad. I guess I dont have to worry about that for the next two surgeries!!!
