WOW :) thanks for all the well wishes...did not expect that.
I'm doing fine, they sent me home next day actually. They said I was doing fine, operation went fine, and all my vittles were strong so they said--GO HOME! It was funny, I vaped a lot there and people were whizzing by all the time, and no one noticed....fine with me!
Yeah, Obama doing a vap or vaping at the FDA building would out do me, but I dare you guys to try that or get our communist prez to vap--such a turd that guy!

Great story and glad to hear you came through the operation with flying colors. Funny ... that's one of the reasons I was so taken with the whole idea of vaping ... in case I ever landed up in the hospital. Where I live you have to actually leave the hospital premises entirely to smoke now! No more just slipping out the back door dragging your IV. Also very interesting that you were able to note heart rate and blood pressure numbers. Best wishes for a continued speedy recovery!

Yeah the BP...well...before any medication (when I first walked in), was just a few points higher than that photo, and the day I left (last reading, 36hrs after opp), was almost the same, just a couple of points up. Overall not much change, and totally in the "good zone" for numbers. If that helps to get an idea at all on this.
Actually, my numbers were high 3 months ago "as a smoker", and the doc told me so. Since I started with V4L, my numbers have been consistently lower, and the doctor has said my numbers were really good for me; being a big guy, over weight, etc. He said whatever you're doing keep it up.
I'm happy to see my numbers so good on a consistency like this...even after sugerey!
AND YES--I did take the time to tell him I was vaping, and he was interested, and even asked for web info about this product (he never heard of it before) ;)
Again; thank you all for the happy thoughts, I had no idea that would happen!

Heal up fast and soon!

I've got:

airplane
recovery room of a pain clinic (you know, where they induce pain claiming it'll cure it)
front cab of the ambulance
random ems rooms in random hospitals
the dentist's office
my parents house (this is the most impressive one to me)

So, I bet I vaped in the most gnarly place where you shouldn't; can you top it?
I had Kidney cancer operation last week, and in the recovery room I used my V4L Shorty (with Menthol) to de-stress after the ordeal. No-one noticed, and it was great to have a vape after the drama to tell you the truth.
On a scientific note; you can see that vaping does not increase heart rate or blood presure as you can see by the monitor...actually those are some good numbers if you ask me!
Thanks V4L, I couldn't of done it without you--can you imagine trying to have a smoke after surgery theses days? The staff would have had a fit

Maybe I can beat your vape place?

well not me, but my dad, does that count?

here we go..

my father, has been fighting bone marrow cancer for over 15 yrs now..

sadly, he is now on the Palliative care unit at md anderson hospital..Hospice care..

he is dying as i type this, suffering and on bipap mask w/ oxygen. I wont go into all his details, but he is dying..

bless my fathers soul, even with his struggle to gasp for air, he is vaping about once every 3 hours..

he pulls his mask off, and places his ecig into his mouth, does his best to puff his ecig..then quickly puts his bipap mask back on..

at 1st, he hid his ecig, but now the nurse and doctors know about it...they havent said a thing to him, or to me, as i sit at his bedside every day of the week, many nites I stay the entire nite..and i vape with him...

cept for tonite, my sisters are with him while i take much needed rest..:(

end of story..

im crying as i type this, and will be with him 2marrow..

eta, please say a prayer for peter, that he crosses over in peace..thank you..

eta,. I chant/pray for your healing, bright blessings to you and a speedy recovery
